Scoring is alot of maintenance so we altered alittle. Eliminating the deductions for picking a tile . The first round we played was 45 minutes! Didn't make it to any more rounds. So our game is just one round

@@clutchcargo666 Never had a problem picking up something as thick as dominoes off a flat surface. If you do, I wouldn't suggest any game that contains cardboard tokens.

When 4 people are playing and one player has 489 in the middle of the round and the other player had 398 and used his last pill does he get to count the points and win

When a player crosses 400 points the round continues to completion. If another player also crosses 400 by the time that round ends then the winner of thebgame is the winner of that final round. So it is important to notate in your score keeping what the score is at the start of each round. This is all per the official rules.

Why should a player get 40 points when they add to the bridge? The example you show at the end of the video shows it only matching 1 side of the tile when a bridge you have to match all three sides

If you keep picking up tiles because you can’t find a match and say you end up with 10 tiles before finding a match. Are those 10 tiles added to your personal collection

Yes and you would deduct 50 points from your score.

When you say, “play continues” after someone cannot go and there are no more tiles in the well, how exactly does it continue?

The player with the lowest score in their hand would win that round and then a new round would begin.

The rules of the game are when the players don't have a play the board is blocked and the person with the least tiles wins the round, but there is no rule that makes you move if you have one and a player may declare no moves when they do exist and this blocks any plays by the opponent, therefore I considered the game rules flawed and this is why I don't play anymore.

If someone were being dishonest to win a round this way then it would be a very slow path to victory that would easily be overcome by normal play by the other players.

I can see that for sure, the game was actually first published in 1965 if Wikipedia is to be believed.
