I Recreated One Of The RAREST Gibson Basses // GIBSON A GO GO

The EB-0F debuted in 1962. With just 265 examples shipped between 1962 and 1965 this one of the rarest of all Gibson's bass guitar offerings.
The SG-DFZ was conceived in 2022 and built in 2023. To date, there is only 1 unit in existence worldwide, making this THE rarest Gibson bass of all time.
In less dramatic words, I had a Darkglass DFZ pedal installed into my SG Bass.

I've always had a dream to drop a fuzz effect into a short scale or extra long scale bass for doom riffage. However, being broke and all and you get the idea. I'm glad you went through with this and hopefully more people get inspired.

Super cool bass! I saw one of the original EB-OFs a few years ago, but somebody had taken out the fuzz. Almost made me cry. I still hope to someday find an original one in good shape. Quick sidenote: the shortscale strings fit on the current EB models. I own a 73 EB-O with the big headstock. You can't put shortscale strings on those.

Well, I wish Gibson built the SG Bass with a PJ pickup set. Hopefully, that would solve the problem of which pickups should perfectly fit in a bass guitar-a kind of tribute to the famous Gene Simmons of KISS.

Awesome video man! I have this bass with a pretty large dirty pedal board after it. I have been toying with the idea of a pick up upgrade but really don't know enough about bass pickups (reformed guitar player). Would be love to hear any suggestions from your experience.

A couple of days ago I watched a megadeth medley that had a lot of invited musicians, one of then was our very own Josh from this channel, and he was playing a very interesting gibson IV bass from the late 80's loaded with EMGs of course.
