I'm bias, but I recommend it. People seem to dig it (and obviously i do). It's also good (or bad, depending on your perspective) to know what the book says so you can compare since the TV show has really fleshed out some of the black and white details of the book. Is that better? Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

I recommend printing out a copy of the Targaryen family tree to go along with the story. The lineage of just* the Targaryen kings who's sons also ruled as king after them goes something like this.. Brother sister Targaryen Velaryon Brother sister Brother sister Cousins Uncle neice Targaryen Rogare Then if we ignore the whole new Blackfyre branch of the tree and stick to just the ruling kings in the lineage we have.. Brother sister Targaryen Martell Targaryen Dayne Targaryen Blackwood Brother sister Brother sister Daenerys. Number of Aegon's mentioned in the family tree just in Fire & Blood alone is 6. Aegon's that were king, 5. Total number of Aegon's in the full family tree, including the Blackfyre side, including all stillborn and early deaths, from conquest up to and including Jon Snow and the son of Rhaegar and Lyana, is 11. 11 Aegon's.

That's a good idea - I've thought about maybe adding some spice to the graphics of audiobooks in the future to help the viewing. I just assumed people didn't even look at the screen as I read! I'm slowly learning that this isn't true.

I know I have officially became an ASOIAF die hard I went from Game of Thrones pilot by mistake when the show was already 4 seasons in, end up binge watching 4 seasons in no time to have finished the entire book series by season 7 finale by series finale to now when it’s time to go to sleep at night can’t fall asleep unless it’s ASOIAF audio books or some type of ASOIAF content. At this point only three things left to do is become a devout follower of The Seven, become a Knight Sir Rahim & go find Howland Reed cause he needs to be found. Ok off to Casterly Rock no Tywin or Kevan Lannister holding court there’s a lot of gold available

I prefer this to the original audiobook %100. The voices (impressions ?) were awful, especially Patchface, so I really love the calm vibe of this one.
