Great tip as always!! Love the last tip! I always fish near/under popular fishing pier, not on the pier. Most people go far far away from shore on the pier and throw far away from the pier. I throw the bait/lure under the pier near shore, where many bait fishes are hidden.

Look at what we use on Lake Michigan, to charge our glow lures. It will constantly keep them charged up. Thank you for the information.

It's just a box that is lined with aluminum reflective insulation and a blacklight to charge the flow lures. A company called "Moonshine Lure" makes a glow paint that lasts for an insanely long time. Not just an hour, or so....several hours.

Great tips, I may start using artificial. God I miss it being August thru last month!!! Small ones left over now water is in the mid 50's. I caught over 200 flounder from 12" to 26" mostly on finger mullet. I have pics to prove it Lol First year in many fishing. I was taught not to set a circle hook. Boy was i wrong!!! I lost about twice as many as I caught near the boat. So next year I am going for 1000 flounder!!! Happy new year!!! Count flounder not Covid!

Awesome tips, Beach! If people don't want to fish with the crowds (I personally hate crowds) then they need to get on Google Maps and start cyber scouting. A lot of people put in a lot of time to find good fishing spots and that's why they keep them secret. If they tell the wrong person then before you know it, it will have a lot more people than usual and it will be just as crowded as the other spots.

I recommend you out your soft plastics on the jig heads straight and with the hook coming out the back. If your jig won't swim straight without twisting it's not right and catches way less fish.
