I remember your old lights out series well. It is the reason I now have multiple lights out worlds. I've killed fuel weaver in lights out. My first base in lights out was actually an oasis base. The second was a base in a dark tree biome. Bad idea its hard to see with the dark turf. Finally. I picked this base around the lunar altar. I now have infinite moon staff light. Infinite cool. And to counter being too cold? Some scale furnaces next to it solves the problem nicely! Dragonfly being right there also helped. Lava pools are great for warming up. I've even got crops! I have killed misery toadstool in lights out. It was nuts! I played Wendy both times. The ghost to kill the ludicrous numbers of spiders that build up was nice. I also managed to kill fuel weaver while using Abigail by crafting lots of tonic to heal. I unloaded my nightmares too. So all I had to do was make sure Abby did not die. Cheap and easy kill for fuel weaver with just a lazy explorers

Funny that the caves are somewhat the safest place in lights out due to glowing mushroom trees and light bulbs and such I’d suggest basing in the blue mush tree forest beard

I love your lights out videos! They just give so many tips for this very niche gamemode. Also maybe let's go with Wolfgang next time? He may be more difficult than usual as his sanity drowns much faster in such conditions.

The game takes pity on you and spawns in the chest, no mods

How do you play lights out? what configs do you change? other than full night and a starter chest (I assume)

You don't need to change anything yourself nowadays as there is a default, Lights Out, configuration in the menus.

I just like how simple and clean regular saplings are to be honest. But in the context of this video, twiggy trees would've been a pain to deal with for easy twigs and emergency light.
