Welcome to my 11-month post minoxidil update. Not many people document what happens after using Minox for the beard so I will be uploading monthly updates documenting the results.
Minoxidil is a topical solution FDA approved only for use on the scalp so I am using this at my own risk and I recommend others do some research before they follow my example. you might know the product rogaine or regaine. well, the active ingredient is minoxidil. you can buy any brand not just the aforementioned 2 and it will work.

Damn what a man! Adam you have a handsome remarkable beard growth! I use Minoxidil since little over 4 weeks every day. Is it advisable to apply it only on the bare patches or on the total beard?

I would say the full beard but that's more so for ease.

I have a question, if you’re beard is quite lengthy, will the minox foam still be as effective when applying onto the hair foliicles or will the facial hair need to be trimmed?

Everyone says it's more effective when it's shorter because it's easier to get it onto the skin.

Can I put moisturiser on my face in areas that facial hair doesn’t grow(eg forehead cheekbones and temple) when I apply minoxidil or should I wait for 4 hours. Reason being that I do a skincare routine for acne (coconut oil with others in + vit c serum) and I have a separate oil for facial hair (JBCO+PEO mix). So I was wondering if putting moisturiser on non facial hair regions would affect the minoxidil absorption on my facial hair region. Also wanna say thanks your videos cleared up a lot of questions for me and I started my minox journey two weeks ago because of them and am already seeing results. I also dermaroll and I was wondering if there’s anything else I could try out to maximise results.

Hey Adam, been using minox for about 23 months with decent gains. I was thinking of taking a tolerance break of about a week but am worried about vellus falling out. Do you think a week off minoxidil will hinder my gains? Thanks pal

No. It usually takes a few months off to start losing vellus

Can't find a video where you answer this question but I'm sure you already have: If I'm applying Minox twice a day, how many hours should I wait between applications? What is the minimum amount of time? Congrats on the marriage!

In some respects I think it has but it's quite possible that it's just placebo. As you say even what seems to be vellus has this far remained

I bought minoxidil 5 % with no alcohol.I applied and I have not seen any symptoms,even skin drying..the one I have bought contains castor oil also as its ingredient.so is it ok??please reply bro

Overthinking. Most manufacturers say that the colour can vary from clear to yellow even in the same batch. It's nothing to worry about imho

I'm not sure. All I know is that it is supposed to raise testosterone though I think from memory that the evidence isn't particularly strong

How long was your journey? And how consistent were you

Just over 2 years. Used 1x a day for first 11 weeks and then 2x a day consistently thereafter up until about 3 months before I stopped, then I got pretty inconsistent. Then I quit. 2 years later, beards still here

Not everyone will have a noticable shedding phase. Some people will just shed at a more gradual rate but even if you don't spot loads of hair falling in one go that you haven't been shedding

Technically they both have the same side effects but generally speaking people experience less of them using the foam.

thats coming in a few days - though its only been one month and I am not sure if I want to continue with the comb as its quite frankly annoying to have to do every day. might just do a dermaroller journey as I think that will probably be better for the community and my beard haha
