Alot of people struggle with basslines best keeping it simple...what I do is have a simple synth bass line bouncing and I have a real low filtered down bass to him a few time every couple of bars that way u get nice low ends but also have a bassline playing a melody.. best way to find the right note is make it with your voice then find it on the keyboard or pitch the note down to fit

Its so cool, a lot of things to learn from your videos n stuff. Its kinda hard to make a nice subbass line or similar, its just hard to me to find the rootnote, its hardcore music theory stuff. If you have a properly tuned sample from splice or something similar it is easy to find the right notes. But most people that struggle with bass don't understand the basics. Tune your sample right and tune your bass to the sample. Remove clashing frequencies from the sample.
