This glue works. My nails stayed on for three weeks. I learned this from another KZbinr. You have to make sure you prepped your nails correctly. It’s worth the money.

For the first time, my press on nails (Kiss French manicure) lasted an entire month. None popped off and I had to use acetone to get them off yesterday. However, I did take the time to officially prep my nails prior to using the glue. Today I'm using an OPI brand press on with this glue and the same nail prep technique. I'll keep you posted.

I've been wearing press on nails for more than 10 years. You are absolutely correct its all about the prep and keeping those hands dry for 6 to 8 hours. I do my nails after my shower at night, also after I brushed my teeth. I keep wet wipes on hand if I need to pee during the night. My nails never pop off and they last a full 2 weeks, even the cheapies I sometimes buy at dollar general.

Love your vids. 100% always come down to prep. I use a different brand glue and my press ons will last 4+ weeks if I let them. And i never wear gloves when doing dishes and love boiling hot showers too lol. I also quickly dip the press on once I have glue on it into clear acrylic powder for some added strength. P.S. There are a few press on glue removers on amazon that are my holy grails to get them off. The Makartt and the Glamnetic ones are my go tos.

I have been a fan of press ons for over 2 years, I hate getting my nails done, and sitting at the nail salon. I can get at least 2 weeks usually 3 weeks out of a set, and I have tried all sorts of brands. it really is in the prep, and not washing your hands for at least 3 hours after applying to allow the glue to dry, my all time favorite are Glamnetics, they consistanly last me 3 weeks. sometimes I soak them off after 2 just to change them up.

Just wondering how this feels in comparison to the gel-x nails in terms of like stability? I mainly do gel-x cause I don't like the weak feeling I used to get from press-ons so its been a long, long time since I've used them honestly. I work at a grocery store and I would love to try press-ons for ease instead of doing a full 4 hour nail set on my day off sometimes, but I worry they won't last... lol but also being able to soak them off would be amazing.... 😅
@TheBeautyVault7 ай бұрын
i'd say they're very similar. cooking, cleaning, i've always got my hands in something and they've never felt any different than gel x, the key is to do really good prep. it sometimes helps to choose a brand of press ons that have a good, strong shape.

any tips with using builder gel on the nails to protect and strengthen them? before i started using brush on builder gel, my press ons would stay on for a week and a half to two weeks before popping off. now, with brush on builder gel, they pop off after a day or so. i would guess buff the gel top coat? nail glue does horrible things to my nail beds and they always pop off, but i love press ons so much regardless.

I agree it’s more so nail prep than glue in my opinion but a good glue definitely helps them last even longer, how I know when I’ve prepped my nails really well with press ons is they feel tight on my nail bed, when they feel tight on my nail bed, I know their secure and not coming off and even when I’m ready to take them off I have to soak them off cause their on that good, which is what i prefer so I can get a long wear outta them before I’m bored and ready to change them, I love doing my own nails and I often prefer press ons over gel x cause I can design them beforehand then put them on which is what I prefer, I need to get familiar with cuticle nippers though, they scare me lol so I haven’t used any yet but I really need to clean up me cuticles instead of just pushing them back, clipping them gives cleaner look anyway your nails turned out really cute

There is a press on glue remover on Temu that really works! You have to lift the nail a bit so the liquid can seep in. Within minutes they started to loosen up! Pretty cool stuff!! Kiss has something similar but the Temu one works better imo.

How do you avoid your nailbed from turning green 🤮 ? This happened to me once and I stopped using press on nails after that 😢
@kz71154 ай бұрын
It happened to me once too. I’m tempted to do press ons more often to reduce risk of developing allergies to gel, not press ons have the “greenie” risk…. Which is less impactful than contact dermatitis though… The greenies happen when air and water get under the nail but can’t dry properly; perfect breeding ground for 🦠🦠🦠 If the prep and glue is really good, it’s less likely for sure but once you notice lifting you should take them off. I think I will create press on sets for fun and practice and plan to wear them for only short periods at a time.

Is it just me or does it seem like even press ons, which are "ready to wear", need the cutcile reshaped. Why cant they just make them flat across? Does anyone have perfectly rounded cuticles? If so, please leave a comment! Yes, i know cuticle growth makes it seem a bit more rounded, BUT it says to push back cuticles in ALL prep, for all nail application methods. So, who the heck are they making these rounded cuticles for? Lol. Rant over.
