I have mental health issues and sometimes wouldn't brush my teeth for days at a time. I have had a severe dentist phobia since I got 2 wisdom teeth out in 2016. They underestimated how bad they were and they had to surgically removed them while I was awake and could feel them. Since I started watching you, I've been committing to once a day at night with a sensitivity/whitening tooth paste and using those little floss picks because they're easier for me than string floss.. In 2 weeks my teeth have actually whitened and look better! I'm going to put money towards getting my tooth issues fixed too. I need my last 2 wisdom teeth surgically removed because one is impacted and the other has broken off. This time im paying for sedation so I am WAY out of it while they do it. And they know that these two are pretty bad so they're prepared. Then I'm going to get my fillings done for cavities. I'm looking into those remineralization products for my sensitivity too. I want my teeth to be healthy before I look into invisalign. I don't want to lose my teeth by 40 like some of my family.

Use soft bristles when you first get braces so it doesn't come loose. Brush your teeth after breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Drink a little bit of water before brushing your teeth so then it becomes easier to see of brush out the food. Good luck! I've had mine on for 1 year and 6 months! I just got my bottom row of braces off a couple days ago! I still have my top row on tho. They are totally worth it!
