Wow this is crazy! What’s even more crazy is that guys like this are the norm and they are everywhere. Being ghosted should not even be a thing. A good communicator will follow up with you either way and to me that’s the least you can do when a person gives you their time. Dating is so hard and having to deal with guys like this makes me question if love is even worth all the bs you have to go through to find it

When I asked him at the end of our relationship what he wants in a woman, I literally told him that that girl needs to be born first. number 2 on the test is really annoying because I can find something I like to eat at almost any establishment. But I quite literally do the heavy lifting most of the time aka one anybody I know once helped moving I am the 1 they call. I've been sad I choose my battles I don't care about where we eat but when there is something that is important to me I will definitely bring it up.

Ok, I can understand a couple of these. I've had a lot of friends, and many girls, even when in a relationship, will still date to get free food. He must have had that happen, and it can get expensive. I understand the makeup thing to an extent. My ex was all bout makeup, but she did it right, she used it to make her natural feature be more noticable, but some girls create a new face which usually means insecurity issues. You will never know if a girl is submissive or controlling in a relationship on the first date. The same goes for a man you went on a first date with. True intensions come out later, but that's also my problem, I'm going to be me right out the gate. Don't like me, then it saves my time. The compliment thing is stupid, sorry, but for me it's the man's responsibility to compliment her. I haven't been on a date in over 7 years, and I'm single because I seriously hate dating. Tried the online dating apps, but it just seems like a hookup place. Personally, I always ask for both of us to be STD tested, and usually it ends up with "What, you don't trust me?" Then that's it. Sorry, but trust is earned not given over knowing you for a month. Everyone has certain criteria, and if it's not for you then move along. He seems well past far left, but I respect him for his standards and when a guy wants to settle, he makes standards, but his "tests" are way too flawed.

Not all of his list were bs, most were. I do agree with one, did you offer to pay. I was raised properly, I ask you out, I pay. However, if you were raised properly, you offer to help. Then it's my job to decline that offer. By you offering, you are telling me that my time is as important as yours and you are not out to use me. It's not that the money matters, it's the jester that counts. It signifies that we are equals from the start, that I don't have to "pay" for your time. If things work out, we should be each other's "prize".

I would pay for the first date because I NEVER want someone to expect more sexually just because they paid. Just because someone asks you out that doesnt mean you automatically dont have to pay. Ive seen tiktoks where people get irate about being invited out but having to pay. Thats bullshit. If you are invited out and cant afford it, then decline or ask for a different idea for the date. JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE INVITED OUT DOES NOT MEAN YOU DONT HAVE TO PAY.

That guy seems a little fruity in my opinion. Compliment me but don't call me handsome. He asked her out then he is expected to pay. That is being a gentleman. However, I don't think that on all first dates the man should have to pay. I'm just stating what I was taught growing up. He should not have gotten a red flag over that.
