Gowan’s talent is right up there with McCartney and Stevie Wonder. Back then he was unfortunately kept within Canada only thanks to record company politics but now the entire world has access to these awesome songs.

Came for Strange Animal. Stayed for Moonlight desires. The ending chorus of this song is extremely moving and inspirational for one's own creative endeavors. It STIRS EMOTION. Do any of the hardcore Gowan fans have any other recommendations along the lines of this song?

I've heard this song a few times at the store I work at part time. I immediately loved the hook when I first heard it. I tried listening closely to hear the lyrics, that way I could search it up. I had to spend almost an hour searching through the radio's playlist to find it. It was worth it, though.

You've got ways To take hold of my thoughts Over-riding my senses Lock your sights Dead in line with my heart Share your powers You stir my soul And whet my hunger And weave that spell That pulls me under These moonlight desires Haunt me They want me, they want me These moonlight desires Haunt me You're sending, you're sending Secret fires Burning inside me unknown Ragging on Never mentioned Only you Can uncover the flames Break their silence And make them dance For us to see them And break their chains And give them freedom These moonlight desires Haunt me They want me, they want me These moonlight desires Haunt me You're sending, you're sending A wave over my mind (wave over my mind) And I fall to it blind You say : Trust me Stir my soul And whet my hunger And weave that spell That pulls me under These moonlight desires Haunt me They want me, they want me These moonlight desires Haunt me You're sending, you're sending A wave over my mind Moonlight desires Your secret powers burn me These moonlight desires Haunt me They want me, they want me These moonlight desires Haunt me They want me, they want me You're sending, you're sending These moonlight desires Haunt me They want me, they want me These moonlight desires Haunt me You're sending, you're sending They want me, they want me A wave over my mind Moonlight desires
