Please pray for me. Prayers are all we truly need. Jesus I still trust in you and will keep my faith even though it is so very difficult. I’m constantly faced with financial hardships and can barely support my children. I’m a single mom With two autistic children. My husband is with God. I’m overwhelmed. My boys require a lot from me. I recently started homeschooling them due to bullying and other issues. Since they are special needs it’s easier not to expose them to certain situations because their behavior is so unpredictable. I lost my job at Forsyth hospital for declining the vaccine. I declined because of my health conditions lupus, and heart disease. Since losing my job I’ve been struggling to support my children and myself. I’m now waitressing and I’m grateful but I’m not making nearly enough. JESUS HELP me. I’m CRYING OUT TO YOU. I’m tired of struggling. Having children with autism is extremely time consuming and expensive. Struggling to buy groceries. Struggling to pay rent. It hasn’t been easy. Why me Lord? But I know God doesn’t give you more than you can handle. I know all things are possible through Jesus. I WILL KEEP FAITH. No matter how hard life gets.

It is tough I was a registered nurse and now live on a small disability check. You were right not to get that jab. Look into all resources you can and reach out to agencies to help you with rent, electric and groceries. It was so hard for me because I had always worked. I wish I had some money to send you but I am still struggling myself. You have my prayers though

@@mitchchapman2754 For the New Covenant Law, the Law of Christ here are some good places: Matthew 5-7, Galatians 5, James 2, Revelation 22, 2 Timothy 3, 1 Corinthians 6, 1 Timothy 1, Romans 1, Colossians 3, etc. There are so many more, but as you see their is so many places where the principles of holiness could be found for those who are in Christ. Thanks Rob. A lot of great points. It is crucial to understand that Paul did not endorse any form of perpetual observance of the ceremonial rituals of the Law of Moses. His purpose in Romans 14 and 1 Cor. 9 was to facilitate the Jewish believers' exodus from a life based upon the legalistic demands of the Law and help them embrace the freedom found in Christ in its entirety. Their weakness represents the error in thinking they continued to be attached to. To interpret these passages as granting a choice to continue observing the Law as an acceptable way of life is a misinterpretation of Paul's intention. He never contemplated such an idea because no one advocated for observance of tenets of the Law as an optional tradition, but as obligatory. ‘Permitted, but not required’ is an unfounded assumption on your part, without any Scriptural basis and should be renounced sooner rather than later. The notion that believers in Christ have the option, but not the obligation, to observe the ceremonial Laws of Moses is an erroneous addition that deviates from Paul's Gospel and serves to frustrate the grace of God. Introducing a ‘traditional’ observance of specific elements of the Law, while attempting to detach them from their original purpose, is inconsistent with Paul's teachings. It stems from a misinterpretation of Paul's words, creating a hybrid category of Law observance that the Scriptures do not endorse, and is contrary to the spirit of the New Covenant. Paul’s words must be understood within their specific contexts and should not be extrapolated to endorse a general acceptance of ongoing adherence to the Law as a personal choice. Such a proposition must be deemed an error, carrying consequences for both its recipients and proponents. Since the establishment of the New Covenant, which is devoid of these rituals, those antiquated practices lose their significance and become spiritually dead. Anything that is dead becomes harmful and deadly to those who continue to interact with it. This misguided approach hinders and undermines the very essence of God's grace that we are called to wholeheartedly embrace. The letter to the Galatians strongly condemns the false teachers who sought to introduce the observance of the Mosaic Law to the Galatian believers, who had already received and embraced the Gospel of grace. The Galatians were without excuse for entertaining these false teachings, as they had experienced the freedom and liberty in Christ and should have known better. In contrast, the passages in Romans 14 and 1 Corinthians 9 address a distinct context. Paul is specifically addressing Jewish believers who were in the process of transitioning from a life centered on the Law to embracing the freedom and grace found in Christ. In these situations, Paul demonstrates patience and understanding towards their struggles and weaker consciences regarding certain practices and observances linked to their Jewish heritage. His intention is to support their growth and enlightenment in due course. In summary, the condemnation in Galatians applies to the false teachings of introducing the Law to believers who had already embraced grace. The passages in Romans 14 and 1 Corinthians 9 address the struggles of Jewish believers in transition. Gentile believers, however, are consistently affirmed to be free from the obligations of the Law, and adopting any practices of the Law would be a regression tantamount to their former idolatry, and something to be avoided at all cost. Just discovered you today and am really enjoying the first few videos that I've come to. Though you explain the life in the Spirit vs the law extremely well, if you could properly sum up how to ensure that we're truly walking by the Spirit (and not mixing our own self-effort of trying to be holy or trying to figure out right and wrong in our own flesh--which I have done before), how would you state it? Mysticism of any kind including kabbalah is forbidden in the Word of God. God people should never participate in it. Mystical methods to interpret scripture is not the way God intended for His Word to be understood. It will lead to faulty conclusions.

There's an old teaching that used to be in many Pentecostal churches that at a point in time a person was sanctified and never to sin again. It was based on a distortion of the Wesleyan doctrine of entire sanctification. From what I understand, that teaching is no longer taught in mainstream Pentecostalism anymore. I'm a Pentecostal (Trinitarian) myself.

Hi, Pricilla. Yes, exactly. The author of Hebrews doesn't specifically tell us what what going on with his readers. But because of nature and context of his comments, it seems Jewish believers in Jesus, like those to whom this letter was written, were experiencing ever-increasing friction and even persecution on two fronts. First from the Jewish community, as Jesus had warned (John 15:18-16:4). Because they confessed faith in Him, they were being persecuted and put out of the synagogues by their fellow Jews. And second, they were being persecuted by the Romans. Remember, Judaism was allowed in the pagan Roman Empire, whereas Christianity at that time was deemed _religio illicita,_ an illegal religion. So a lot of their problems would have been solved if they left Jesus behind, or at least worshipped Him in secret, and outwardly returned to Judaism and the temple and the priesthood and so on. And that’s why we see this extended discussion in Hebrews about the superiority of Jesus and the New Covenant in all those areas. Blessings, RLS

Great channel!! Just casually reading Acts and came across this. Isn’t this proof that we are not under the law and grip of the Old Testament?! Keep up the good fight! Acts 6:11-15 NKJV Then they secretly induced men to say, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.” And they stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes; and they came upon him, seized him, and brought him to the council. They also set up false witnesses who said, “This man does not cease to speak blasphemous words against this holy place and the law; for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs which Moses delivered to us.” And all who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at him, saw his face as the face of an angel.

Thanks, TW! Actually, the thing that jumped out at me in that passage is that the men who said Jesus taught against Moses were "secretly induced" to say that. And that they "set up false witnesses." In other words, they were lying. Jesus never taught against Moses or God. This is what Jesus said Himself, "I have not come to abolish the law or the prophets, but to fulfill them" (Matt 5:17). Being saved by faith alone, not by works and obeying YHWH's Commandments once we are saved. I would love for all to come to this understanding! If you have this understanding already, take the time to pray for your love ones who don't get it yet. If you try to keep the law to be justified or to try and save yourself you are cutting yourself off from Christ. That is the true summary of what Paul is saying in Galatians 5:1. What is definitely NOT being taught here is, once you are saved by faith alone, you should stop obeying God's Law. That would mean Paul is contradicting the rest of scripture, Jesus and himself. Romans 2:13 "For is is not those who hear the law who are righteousness in God's sight, but those who obey the Iaw who will be declared righteous." And to crystallize this point Jesus says in Luke 11:28 "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it." If you want to be saved, it is by faith alone not by works or by trying to keep the law because you won't be able to keep it perfectly. Jesus's Righteousness is how we are Saved not ours. Once you accept this gift of salvation and you want to please Our Father, so that things will go well for you and be blessed, obey His commandments.

In order for the list in gal 5:19 to apply to a believer the law would have to apply. Isn't the 10 commandments the law thou shall not? God doesn't see these sins in the believer he sees them in those under the law. No believer is living in such things

If the Mosaic law was a tutor to bring the Israelites to Christ, but Gentiles are not under that tutor, what (as Gentiles) brings us to Christ? Is it the moral law of God (summarized in the 10 commandments) that is written on our conscience?

The 10 Commandments are the summary of the ketubah (Marriage contract) entered into by a mixed multitude of people groups who Moses led out of Egypt during the historical Exodus. This group comprised of Jews and Gentiles received the Torah at Sinai (Ex 19) which was the wedding ceremony. Exodus 21-23 are the details of the ketubah. ALL of Torah is written in our minds and upon our hearts. It's the Ruach Hakodesh that wrote Torah on circumcised hearts

I would be careful accusing people of teaching "cheap grace." The apostle Paul was accused of the same thing just because he taught salvation by grace through faith. I think that term is thrown out there very carelessly and can give a false message of the Gospel.

The apostle Paul himself, in Romans 14:1-23, insists upon the forbearance of a Gentile even towards the Jew that might be still encumbered by his days, meats, and so on. But the moment a Gentile takes the system up, or a Jew presses it on a Gentile, it is nothing but downright heathenism. Do not suppose that idolatry has its character saved because Jesus is worshipped. Christianity refuses to be mingled with anything but itself. Tender and comprehensive as Christianity is, it is also the most exclusive thing that can be. Truth must necessarily be exclusive, and all who hold the truth must, in their adhesion to it and Him who is its personal expression, be exclusive too. Rob, Gal 5:11 Paul was persecuted because the gospel seemed to be a licence to sin, and Peter was an example of someone under grace who sinned, which was seen by the circumcision as a sinner. Paul does not dismiss the law of righteousness, but it must be by faith and love not letter, which as today people abuse their freedom as the law remained written in their hearts. So they must not sin as love will not permit sin, but those who sin and are not held to account, are back under the law of sin and death. Not as you imply that you are still saved, so you do preach grace us a licence to sin which has NOT been paid for on the Cross, but a matter of Justification. Obviously the Pharisees thought that their rituals and sacrifices did atone for sins, which makes them hypocrites as they preached against sin, but sinned themselves.

Hi again Ron, my comments weren't friendly so I apologize. I am taking out some anger on you because my brother is blindly listening to you without reading the bible for himself. I shouldn't be angry with you but with him. Anyway, do you see how what you are saying isn't consistant. Permitted but then Christ is of no value to you. That isn't permitted unless you don't care about Jesus The way I understand Galatians 5 is if you try to do works to be JUSTIFIED then you are making Christ of no value. That seems to make more sense then what you seem to say, if you try and follow His commandments out of obedience you are being cut off from Christ.

The idea of "permitted but not required" is found in a number of NT passages including Colossians 2:16-17, Romans 14:1-4, and this one: "To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law (though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law. To those outside the law I became as one outside the law (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. @@TheBiblicalRoots Hi Ron, I understand your interpretation of those verses and that you believe and teach if you want to keep the Torah that's fine, but we are not required to. But in this video your teaching takes a turn from, "it's okay if you want to" to if you keep Torah you are cut off from Christ. Do you understand that you are not being consistant in what you are saying? Once you are able to see the inconsistency, then hopefully you can see that Paul is simply saying if you keep the Torah to be try JUSTIFIED then you are trying to ADD to the gift of salvation making it no value to you. What Paul is not saying here is, don't obey the Torah at all. That would be reading into the text what simply is not there.

We don’t actually! We love Paul. Paul defends Torah. Paul constantly corrects man made doctrine and he corrects trying to earn salvation through law keeping (the curse of the law is keeping it WITHOUT the testimony of Yeshua) Yah wants our hearts and then our obedience. We don’t reject Paul. We don’t reject Messiah and we are not trying to earn our salvation but we delight in following our Fathers instructions

Paul does not argue against the Judaizers, he argues against the likes of Peter who treat grace as licence to sin, the same argument as in Hebrews. Accepting circumcision is to reject Christ who can deliver forgiveness of sins, an argument not accepted by the circumcision as any sin required sacrifice to them, but in Christ Peter has to admit and repent his sin. Peter upset Paul as he hid his sin, and upset the circumcision as he broke the 10 commandments. In the Mosaic law, or law of Christ God's law must be kept perfectly, because if you love you cannot sin, but you must own you sin and repent to stay under grace. Faith works by love, because by love you cannot sin.

Pretty sure the Apostle Peter didn't treat Grace as a license to sin. Oh, and it was Paul who brought this issue to Jerusalem - Acts 15:5 But some believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees rose up and said, “It is necessary to circumcise them and to order them to keep the law of Moses.” ==== You seem confused, the law of Moses is NOT the law of Christ. @@salpezzino7803 Paul did not preach grace as a licence to sin, but many thought they could. Peter sinned and was admonished by Paul, as Gal 6:1-10. Paul wrote Romans due to backsliding into sin, as he said the law did not go butust be written on their hearts, circumcision of the heart. The law of Abraham is the law of Christ. Which is the law of righteousness written on your heart. Check this reply before you imply that I lie.

@@billyhw5492 Peter was found commiting sin, and Paul helped bear his burden by calling him out. This was in Jerusalem, but Paul used the example of Peter as many were backsliding into sin, because they did not understand the law had to be written on their hearts, ie it still existed that they use not sin.

They walked in a pure heart when they obeyed YaH and a wicked heart when they sinned. Man has the ability to choose (Deut 30:11-14). Man has the ability to repent and turn. I agree the blood of Yeshua purifies us from our defilement.

Jesus offered himself and the temple veil rent from top to bottom, that all can enter into the holy of holies. No divide between the high priests or the common people anymore. Moses himself endured 40 yrs in Midian & 40 yrs in wilderness journey. He seen the glory of God and was the people's deliverer,yet he made one mistake,he struck the Rock twice, and he was told to speak to the Rock,he was not allowed to cross over to the land.

Rob continues to argue an argument Paul didn’t argue. Paul doesn’t argue the circumcision party believes one must do the Law of Moshe to earn salvation. No Jews believed this in the first century. Keeping the law of Moshe was and is for already redeemed people. Paul is dealing with the national covenant pride of the Pharisees. One is righteous by way of the mark of physical circumcision through their oral traditions. One becomes bound to their man-made means of salvation. For they nullified the word of YaH through their traditions. YaH always demands salvation by faith. He never demanded salvation by circumcision for Avraham is the example.

Thanks, Mr. Branches. I hear what you’re saying and understand the distinction you’re making. And I agree that Yahweh has always brought salvation through faith, not by the law. As you know, to be justified is to be declared righteous, which means we are absolved from the penalty of sin (Romans 3:23; 8:1; 1 Peter 2:24) and restored to God’s favor, which was lost due to our sin (John 3:36). And justification is an essential part of salvation. Can one be declared righteous in God’s eyes (justified) but not be saved? Or conversely, can one be saved but not declared righteous? Salvation and justification are separate theological concepts, but they are conjoined in the same saving mechanism: it is by faith in Christ that we are both saved _and_ justified. When we come to faith in Jesus, we are saved and justified all at the same time! This means those who lived prior to Jesus were ultimately saved by a faith that looked forward to Jesus and were not fully absolved of their sins until Jesus arrived. Paul talks about this when he writes that Jesus was “put forward as a propitiation (atoning sacrifice) by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness because *in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins”* (Rom 3:25). And the author of Hebrews teaches that the death of Jesus redeemed those who are called “from the transgressions committed under the first covenant” (Heb 9:15). The false teachers in Galatia argued that one can be made right before God (justified) through circumcision and other Mosaic rituals, which to a first-century Jew who did not yet understand what the death of Christ accomplished, was indistinguishable from being “saved.” So, yes, in a very real sense, Paul *_is_* arguing that we aren’t made right with God or saved through circumcision or any other Mosaic rituals. “Yet we know that a person is *not justified by works of the law* but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and *not by works of the law,* because *by works of the law no one will be justified.”* (2:16) “For *all who rely on works of the law are under a curse”* (3:10) “Now it is evident that *no one is justified before God by the law”* (3:11) “You are severed from Christ, you who would be *justified by the law”* (5:4) He teaches the same thing a few years later in his letter to the churches in Rome: “For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight” (Rom 3:20) “For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law” (Rom 3:28) Blessings, Rob

Christians believe ONE person in history was anointed or the CHRIST and they believe in that one person, but he is not one person, but THE FIRST and LAST ADAM who is resurrected by the ANOINTING, the CHRIST and that body has "many" members now: Since we are all part of the Last Adam, we are individually anointed, hence CHRIST RISES IN US at an hour we do not know ahead of time and when he is RISEN, we are anointed too and we are in the FIRST RESURRECTION because CHRIST IS OUR RESURRECTION: At the time of this resurrection, Acts 2, we receive the HOLY SPIRIT, receive visions that explain the Bible and confess LIFE by the power of the fiery tongue, which is how the dead bones of the whole house of Israel is resurrected. Now people believe in Jesus but they don't believe they are in the first resurrection which is also the RAPTURE or being seated in heavenly places "with Christ" till he makes your enemies your footstool. Paul explains this about himself. In truth, none of the Bible really makes sense or is CLEAR (meaning you are still in Babylon) till you experience the "REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST" in and through you: 1Pe 5:13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, salutes you; and so doth Marcus my son. Mark 4, John 16 explains, the SEED (of the woman, Abraham's seed) is born through the GOOD ground of your heart: Jesus CHRIST returns by being born through your heart, hence he who does the WILL of my FATHER (repent for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand) is my mother, brother, sister: So see? Circumcision as its known today has NEVER been required for salvation. The Circumcision at issue in Galatians, which Rob continually misses and therefore creates a strawman, is going through the proselyte conversion process to become Jewish. The "another gospel" Paul is astonished, amazed, marvels, shocked and or wonders about (Gal 1:6) is exactly this! Understanding this important fact eliminates all of the confusion perpetuated in the Western Christian Church that has gone on for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years. Shame on you Rob for not using proper hermeneutics. You should know better!

This is the issue you miss because it was the legalistic perversion of Torah that astonished, amazed, shocked, marveled, wondered, surprised Shaul (Gal 1:6) caused by the Influencers NOT Judaizers, that were perverting, twisting, distorting, changing the Gospel of the Kingdom aka how to enter into covenant (1:7). Also, the Influencers were a combination of Gentiles already in Covenant. Some through converting to Judaism, via circumcision, others not circumcised and Jews. Late Shaul writes in Eph 2:8-10 8. What we are saved by (Grace) 9. What we are not saved by (works, legalism) 10. What we are saved for (good works of Torah, the details of the Ketubah (Ex 20) found in (Ex 21-23)in the 1st century The opposite of grace is not law it's legalism, the legalistic perversion of Torah
