Watching you both is truly a gastronomically gratifying experience. That was lots of food on your table. It was indeed a visual delight too to see that colorful platter sizzling and umpteen dishes on your table. Every viewer who relish authentic chinese food will definitely be drooling while watching this episode. In Bangalore 'Mainland China' chain of restaurants claim to serve authentic Chinese food. But after watching this episode I have my doubts. Sid and Shanky - Love you guys. Watching you guys savoring all those delicacies and indulging in (f)riendly banter is undoubtedly a great pleasure. Keep on ROCKINGGGGG Guys. Keep on Sharing. Looking forward for more such videos. ❤🧡💛💜🤎💙

If you guys want to have original Chinese food in India , please come to Kolkata because there is a Chinese community here and there are a lot of Chinese eateries . Even though in some of the restaurants the food has been indianised but there are some Chinese eating houses still preserving their authentic cuisine.

And yes there is no such thing as Garlic Butter Sea food platter in “authentic Chinese” food. It’s as novel to Chinese food as chicken lollipop

There is garlic and oil and garlic in lard dishes abound across the provincial cuisines of China. In modern times and after the British rule of HK, southern provincial cooking began to use butter in some rare dishes.

@@TheBigForkers oh “butter garlic” suddenly became “oil” and “lard”… lol masters of changing the goal post. No.1 they don’t do platters in China as they stick to the philosophy one meat source. No.2 majority of China still doesn’t eat butter apart from touristy chaps like yourself who’ve settled from outside

I think, In India it also depends on where do you eat the Chinese food from and how do you prepare it. But, definitely the Indo-Chinese cuisine that we get in India have many fans too! Now, I simply do not like the Chinese cuisine (Authentic) that we get here in Poland or EU. May be it's just my palette. It is subjective after all.

Chili Chicken exists in China, it's called La Si Ji. The Hakka who came to India and settled in Tangra don't have much history of cooking Chili chicken in the tradional way as that is from Sichuan. Tangra Chinese is very different from the Chindese served in pan Asian restaraunts

@@TheBigForkers Whos talking about pan Asian restaurants?? We are talking of Chinese restaurants invented and created by the immigrants from the tiretta region in major cities which provide a authentic Chinese experience. Well, atleast more authentic then “butter garlic sea food” platter which has no connection to China

You clearly have no knowledge of the hunan people of tiretta and the number of dishes they’ve given to Indian cuisine. And Yes, none of them use butter 🤣

Utter bullshit, majority if not all migrants to the region are Hakka origin. How the fuck would Landlocked Hunan folks sail to India, especially with a Hukou system. You know nothing.

And having been to Tangra and eaten at one of the oldest places, I can vouch for the close but no where authentic Hakka dishes. But who gives a shit about authenticity or actually doing research before commenting on Social Media.
