I would have loved to meet Dimebag, i've only heard good stories about him and how warm and welcoming he was. I remember someone telling a story how Dimebag went to a bar, and there were alot of Pantera fans present in that bar, so he bought a free drink for everyone in the bar. At least he left us with alot of music to enjoy. And i think the solo in The Art of Shredding is one of the best solos ever written, the way he bends the strings and makes it groove like no one else. Amazing!

That man is amazing and plays like nothing else. Phil once said in an interview that Dime is the greatest guitar player in the world and that he was passionate about his playing. That he chased after that classic tone. You can really hear that he just didn’t play the guitar, he made it so what he wanted and still the guitar can’t keep up

Other people argue that dimebag wasn't as great as others but I disagree dimebag put every fiber of his soul into his music regardless of how basic or technical which is why he is so much more revered and memorable than other guitarists

What you're saying is something you just made up in your own head. Dimebag wore the blade as a signature part of his look with specific reference to Judas Priest's British Steel album. It wouldn't be convenient to use with coke the way he wore it. And Dime was disgusted with Phil's heroin use and other hard drugs, whereas he was open about his love for weed. So why would he hide it if he was into it? But finally, don't take my word for it. Here is Dime talking about it in his own words: "“I smoke weed every now and again,” he replied. “Not as much as Philip, but he doesn’t drink as much as me. I drink quite a bit. I like whisky and Coors Light and a little weed, but I definitely don’t do cocaine. I trip a little acid now and again but that’s it. No needles - I’m not hooked on anything.” and ""Some people like to compare hard drugs to people who like to party on alcohol. But look, man - one's legal and one's illegal, and there's a reason for that. I've seen too many motherfuckers go down in flames because of that shit." So let's recap: Dimebag said "I definitely don’t do cocaine" and "I've never, ever snorted cocaine". Therefore: shut the FUCK up about Darrell and stop lying about the man.
