I mean jimi Hendrix used the minor pentatonic scale a lot. And I dont think anyone would refer to Jimi's playing as boring. Also dont think I've ever heard anyone call any scale ever boring let alone the pentatonic. Minor pentatonic is like the most versatile scale in the world haha. Literally used in every single genre. I know u arnt saying it is boring or anything and that this was just a joke comment.. just couldnt ever see a guitar teacher saying that and I like ranting lol

Zakk has been one of my biggest influences. To me he’s one of the greatest of all time. He plays the F’ outta the guitar but still maintains a sense of soul to his playing even when he’s playing pentatonic’s at lightning speed. That’s not easy to do.

The comments on this are great! I saw BLS a few years ago and they were every bit as good as you'd expect.
