His life journey starts in Kala Pahar (Mansehra), goes on to Islamabad University and then the University of Oregon. Among his inventions is the world’s first digital video phone as well as the first floating point processor on a chip. Now a longtime resident of California, his hujra has hosted countless Pakistanis and Bengalis.
