The original song has that upbeat and carefree vibe, kind of like a young and dumb teenager. The reimagined version highlights the dark undertones of the lyrics and you can feel the agony in his voice. Also goes to show that Ronnie has been a damn good lyricist his whole career. He definitely has exponentially grown as an artist over the years. Always enjoy your content, keep doing your thing man!

Your insight is spot on; the song is about himself. He wrote it in his prison cell, looking into a mirror. The entire first album was written in prison, and what wasn't written about him was written about his old friends in Escape The Fate, who fired him when he went to prison. Raised By Wolves was the first song on the first album, and it's one of my personal favorites.

One of my favorites by Falling in Reverse. He wrote the lyrics while being in prison, fighting to become clean (from heroin I think) and looking at himself in the mirror. I think the woman represents the drug and the temptation coming from it.

I love that he got released from prison and was on an absolute mission to destroy ETF in every way possible, and you can hear the tone of vengeance in his voice, even in these fun carefree songs. I hate that you missed them, because GAAAWWWD having been someone who was a fan of RONNIE since the ETF days and watches it all go down, it's been a beautiful glow up and show down. Iykyk. I became a reaction video addict during lockdown and discovered Ronnie then. He does seem to get in his own way a lot, but at the same time, he's had difficulty with people not letting things go.
