I never realized how many ways America's foundation can be interpretated by so many intellectuals with non of the same mind, yet, all saying the same thing. As Dr. Carr said, "re-imagine America."

This conversation was historically enlightening. Especially the part about "pilgrims" actually being separatists. The fact that "savages" were able to form a union before the British Colonies says a lot. I will definitely be reading this book. Hope to have Richard back soon. Dr. Carr is a great host as always.

Thank you Dr Carr once again for making us aware of this country's history. Didn't know other groups had to courage to even think of succession. I will be taking a look at the book and attempting to re-think my thoughts on the other groups that share this land with us.

I said the same thing about Du Point DuSable, if you read his story it seems like he spent his whole life trying to escape racism and that's how he ultimately ended up founding what is now Chicago.

we should have serious discussion on succession and us splitting in to 2 or multiple factions and we can choose to leave or relocate. I am all for a nation that is filled with like minded people and not subjected to a defacto rule by people who are looking to undermine my humanity.

but what if your present location decides to split in a direction you dont like? will people have to be forcibly relocated?

@@retiredluvit4100 if it's to be with your kind mind as well. There should be a government type of funding for those who relocate etc. Just like those who move back to ghana can enter a program to get land and to be possible to move back to those lands where they say our ancestors are from.

I know that my comments, posts are being read. Somehow I’ve been invited to publish my thoughts , facts, options on paper via “writing” for a price. What I express is sometimes regurgitated verbatim after posting my comments, facts, and opinions. I am tracking these alleged “coincidences”, Doc.

It would seem to be a question historically of how many steps forward and how many steps back. I would cite Martin Luther King Jr's arc of history.

These topics about black history in America are not comical, nothing to laugh about. So please act accordingly when having guests.

Regina McPherson, it _is_ laughable: American racial dynamics, myths of exceptionalism, 'international morality.' A _rueful_ laugh, at the very least.

People expression of laughter don't mean it's funny. Sometimes it's a sign of nervousness or find something ridiculous but happened anyway.
