Thank you, Sam, for posting this video. I have been looking for the high mileage rolling ball tips. The websites I used to get them from stopped carrying them, and I assumed it was because Ambutech stopped making them. So happy I found them again!

Thanks. I used your link to order myself a spare cane. I ordered the cork handle to try out. I live in Phoenix and my hand is always sweaty. I currently use a golf glove to help my grip… a solution but not the best solution. Thanks for the video.

I’ve been using Amtech for close to 30 years. Sam I actually think I was using Amtech when we were in high school.

Thank you for this! I'm experimenting a bit at present. After Structured Discovery training in Minneapolis and Des Moines, all that I've ever used is a strait D cane.

I own a wheel tip. Being vision impaired but not legally blind I generally just roll it straight forward. It works on most surfaces that I've used it on including grass. It doesn't do great in the snow. That's a job for the dakota disk tip. If you can see decemt enough to generally follow someone across a parking lot or in a store, the wheel tip works well.

Hi Sam, I love this video. Didn’t realize there was so many different options to choose from for these types of canes.

I absolutely love this company and all the products. When I switched over to them, I have gotten multiple products from them just because of the durability and the quality. Absolutely love my Pathfinder 360 tip. I love rocking out with my blue cane.

I love my ate cane. I got three years ago and I custom my color. My colors matching Carolina colors. The bottom is actually black, but the rest is all blue.

I love Ambutech white cane products I wish they but weren't so expensive though. I have used the high mileage tip and it only lasted me a month. I like the marshmallow cane tip, metal glad cane tip, and the ceramic cane tip my favorite cane to use is the graphite which for some reason the graphite cane the end of the cane gets so beat up it breaks in about 6 months.

I love Ambutech's Slimline cane with the ceramic tip for how light, nimble, and compact it is. However, mine took a serious beating during my work travel this summer and I found myself needing something more robust on multiple occasions while traveling. I've recently upgraded to Awarewolf's Urban Xplorer, largely because I vastly prefer the foam grip to anything Ambutech offers on their larger canes.

Oh, ISO customized my cane. When I got it, the top section is black. The bottom section is purple and the fittings between the sections happen to be a silvery or Gray. That happens to be the colors of the Los Angeles Kings hockey team, which is my absolute favorite team for over 30 years. I say, put some flair into it.

how do you go about changing out the elastic band inside of the cane? have you had some type of contest to give away those supplies? what would be the best tip for tapping that would help prevent getting stuck in the gut when the cane gets stuck in a crack on the sidewalk? I enjoy your content, thank you very much. 0:08

I’m 4’ 8” or 56 in (142.24 cm) What would be the height of a cane for someone that tall? I’m an adult but I am short

I recently picked up their slim line cane so I can compare it to my Revolution Advantage ID Cane I actually prefer the Revolution Advantage ID Cane it feels sturdier to me than the slim line and I only use it for ID since I am legally blind with 20/300 vision.

In my area. Most of the PD didnt know what my cane was for. I have been pulled over once because my cane is orange and the officer wanted to give me a ticket because he said the white cane law went I HAD to have it white. Until I had him look it up and he let me go. I have also had officers stop me in a different city and tell me that it was cool to see mine was orange and they felt that they could see if better than the white one.
@johnclaybaugh9536Ай бұрын
The reasom mobility canes have traditionally been white is because it was discovered just over 100 years ago that the whute cane is the most noticeable. And I frequently meet people who don't know what the white cane means. I don't need the problens that may come with a cane of a different color. But people make their own decisions. And I'll keep making mine.

❤ Hey Brother ! I had to share this video on my Facebook or meta Paige feed whatever you want to call it LOL . To be honest I really don't know if you totally recognize the impact of what your message actually means !? 😅 and yes here is the kicker ! .. to all of you please don't take this personally . I myself I have the mobility of a drunken cerebral palsy "victim" along with 20/550 visual acuity . Here comes the absolute most hilarious point that that I'm getting at . [ why should I be forced to flamboyantly display the fact that I have a disability when you are not required to flamboyantly display your individual retardation ? 😂 I honestly don't mean to offend anybody hopefully you get my point and it is quite poignant ! ✌❤🙏z
