Not just Kevin Conroy, but also some legendary voice actors of the DCAU who are no longer with us, such as Gilbert Gottfried (Mr. Mxyzptlk), Arleen Sorkin (Harley Quinn), and Richard Moll (Two-Face).

RIP Kevin Conroy. I grew up with the DCAU and beyond, and the impact it has had on me is profound. I am eternally grateful for all it has provided or inspire and the legacy it left for us to follow.

To quote Mark Hamill’s Joker “without Batman crime has no punchline.”

One legacy of it I HIGHLY recommend is a comic set AFTER the finale called Justice League: Infinity. It's basically a look at different versions of the characters and following Amazo's journey from after his appearance in JLU. It's a great story :)

Seeing the influence of the DCAU laid out in chronological order, and illustrating the ripple effect it continues to have in entertainment is fascinating!

Funnily enough, while I watched Justice League a bit as a kid, I didn’t really start looking into DCAU stuff until I was in college after watching the Lego Batman Movie of all things sparked an interest in it. Personally, after seeing their great dynamic in JLU, I’d love to see a film or tv show focused on Green Arrow and Black Canary (with cameos from Huntress and the Question maybe?). Also, the Lauren Faust DC Superhero Girls show is VERY underrated imo, but I’m glad it at least got a proper conclusion, even if that required briefly crossing over with Teen Titans Go for like 15 minutes.

Actually, Batman Gotham Knight is supposed to take place between the events of Batman Begins and the Dark Knight.

Excellent video. I love the animation of DC and it's incredible impact it has had. I've collected most of the straight to dvd movies of DC, I have a shelf full of it, which now I want to revisit. I cherish the animation so much as it made me appreciate the DC heroes.

I haven’t watched the entire DCAU beyond the entirety of STAS and a handful of episodes of BTAS and Static Shock or played the Arkham games (yet) but I’ve done enough research without spoilers and they could’ve started its’ own universe with Superman game, a Wonder Woman game, a Green Lantern game, a Flash game, etc and they all lead to a Justice League game! It feels like every single time DC had an opportunity to expand the universe from more than one project, Warner Bros somehow ruins it. At least DC has their own independent studio now like Marvel.

Long live the DCAU.

One thing you forgot to mention is the Lego games, when Lego Batman 2 became the first big Lego to feature voice acting since Bionicle Hero’s with Clacney Brown reprising his role as Lex Luther and it wasn’t until Lego DC Supervillains when most of the cast from Justice League reprise their role including Micheal Ironside who voiced Darkside.

It’s amazing how many projects splintered off of one show.

Also there’s an episode of young justice that connects to the Green Lantern the animated series. With a half red half blue Razer lantern. He actually talks about the computer girl friend gone bad, and how he plans to save her one day. I’m surprised you didn’t mention that

We can confirm green lantern isn’t a part of the DCAU, because Razor appeared in Young Justice and a blue lantern searching for Aya, meaning the show takes place in that universe. According to the new trailer for Crisis on Infinite Earth, Aya will make an appearance and hopefully we’ll get a conclusion to her story Great video as always

I wonder what separates the "Irreplicable" Voice actor from the "Its ok recast him" voice actor? What elevates Kevin Conroy above Walt Disney or Jim Henson or Mako ? To name only 3 examples of many. or on a similar note, Why do we recast iconic characters when said actor is still alive and willing to work? and can Maurice LaMarche still play Egon if they do a new Ghostbusters animated show? or do they have to kill off the animated Egon? any how, would love to see a series like this one dedicated to Spider-Man

Beware the Batman actually first aired in 2013. Right after Brave & the Bold had ended. You know… Batman: the Brave & the Bold. The show thats inspired by the sliver age but was more of a love letter to Batman and DC in general. The show you did an honest review of? Also, Brave & the Bold isn’t like Teen Titans. Same goes to the Green Lantern show.

I hope the Teen Titans movie is better than the streaming series. I didn’t like it because most of the acting was bad with few exceptions and the budget was too low to allow the characters to use their powers to full potential. Starfire doesn’t fly and Ravel isn’t mediating like she is supposed to to keep her powers under control.

Hey all you hardcore Disney animation fans out there, you guys should make a fan-made stylized 2D animated Disney series that's exactly like watching The Wonderful World Of Mickey Mouse, but it's in a league of it's own entirely and it costars all of both the fan-favorite Walt Disney Animation Studios theatrical films and Disney Television Animation TV series cartoon characters of past and present that's not only a good funbelievably impressive must-watch experience of recent memory nor it's it's a unbelievably funnomenonal/unbelievably Disney funnomenonal wholesome tribute to the company itself in the best way imaginable nor even it's quite a absolute unforgettably can't-miss modern day masterpiece experience that both diehard folks and non-Disney folks alike out there in the world will undoubtabley fall head over heels mad in love with this series, fan-made projects or otherwise, like you wouldn't believe, but it's also quite possibly hands down THE top-tier greatest and most spectacularly funnomenonal impressive Disney show that the entire diehard fandom community itself has ever seen yet to date, fan-made projects or otherwise, and be the textbook definition of "either official or not, this very show would've quickly become a worldwide phenomenon to this very day without slowing one bit and would've gone gangbusters on their own streaming service from this moment forward and then some, period! It's call Have A Mice Day!: The Wonderful DisnUniverse Of Mickey Mouse (with a rendition of Anything You Want It from the second trailer of Universal Pictures' The Fall Guy name Have An Absolute FUNNOMENONAL Mice Day! for both the trailers and the series itself along with a reprisal one of the end credits too that's just as, if not, better to completely out of the ballpark unexpected better than The Fall Guy trailer rendition itself in every top-tier best possible sense of the word, without question!) starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse and costarring all the fan-favorite theatrical film canon Walt Disney Animation Studios and Disney Television Animation Studios television cartoon characters imaginable and it's quality, as well as it's from time to time musical numbers, needs to be such a downright unrivaled beyond breath-takingly incredible incarnate spectacle to behold for all the right reasons why, especially by today's modern day Hollywood animation standards going forward, it'll genuinely make you believe you're actually watching a fan-made stylized 2D animated Disney series while also being a MAJOR wholesome tribute to The Disney Renaissance Era as a whole as well, period. You guys can also watch this show on the go either on both crystal clear current 4 to 8K Ultraviolet HD Disney DVD and Disney Blu-ray/Disney Blu-ray 3D and/or on video and Laserdisc to make it feel like you're seriously right back to the good old 1990's decade and right back to your wonderfully beloved fun childhood days all over again like no time has passed at all to you (not even for the slightest nanosecond), no questions asked.

I am behind James Gunn all the way but I am disappointed that his Superman movie doesn’t have characters like Turpin or Mercy. Instead we have Miss Tessmaucher and the bumbling Otis. Why is Hawkgirl Kendra Rowe instead of Shayria Hall who is a much stronger character. I don’t like the actress they chose to play her either. She was in the terrible Madame Web movie as one of the Spider-women
