Best chase scenario is a character based off his likeness and using his voice but with a unique design. Being a straight up soccer player would piss me off since USA sports team has been shunned for so long lmao. Maybe a character like menat from street fighter but the orb is a ball

There will be 17 fighters on the main roster already 11 characters have been revealed that just leaves 6 more we have already heard hokutomaru kain and gato in the first trailer and the promo art showed andy and joe that makes 16 meaning there is only one spot left and the only fighters missing are the kim bros and freeman the dlc for the summer will probably be the kim bros so the last spot would go to freeman that is before ronaldo just came in and stole his spot so who knows im guessing the dlc fighters will be the kim brothers freeman and blue mary thats what i see happening i hope ronaldo isnt actually a fighter but if he wasn't why would snk do what they did 🤷 though one thing is certain this is going to be a painful next few months.

Theres a voice in the trailers that confirms that joe higashi and a male shiranui practitioner. I doubt itll be hokutomaru since the voice is drastically different than his. Its probably andy bogard. We know that the kim brothers will be dlc. Since the first DLC is a two for one. That or itll be the jin brothers.

@@MeatOfJustice its only 2 years. The rest of the cast didnt grew older. Motw takes place in 2006 while cotw is 2008. The voice seems an ikemen voice(handsome voice) so i doubt its hokutomaru. But a grown up hokutomaru isnt a bad idea. And with the first dlc is confirmed to be ken and chunli, its safe to say at least one of kim's boys will be in the vanilla game. For me personally i would love to see a mature version of yuri in this timeline. Imagine a more sexier yuri and the roles are reversed she's the one bullying mai for being too tomboyish.

@@maosama3695 Another reason people believe its Hokutomaru is because of the move that is referenced in that trailer which is Ougi - Chou Hissatsu Tatsumaki, which is a signature Hokutomaru, not Andy. Andy has never used that technique.

My hunch: CR7 is gonna VA a brand new character inspired by his own sob story. His dad was an alcoholic that didn't make it until he got really big, so this is kinda similar to a FG character backstory.

My take on the remaining six spots of the base roster and the Season 1 DLC: Andy, Gato, Kain, Hokutomaru, New character, and Blue Mary for base roster. For DLC Season 1: The Kim Bros, Dong Hwan and Jae Hoon, Joe, Freeman, Raiden, and Duck King. As for Christiano Ronaldo, I want him as a special guest character. SNK would make major bank if he's a playable character. There's millions of FIFA fans out there that would buy a game if a icon of theirs is in Fatal Fury: COTW. Though chances are that he'll be a special announcer similar to SF6.

Excluding what just got announced, I'd actually disagree about not counting dlc in roster predictions since the version with the season pass is both the base version and the only version of the game. You have to get S1 with the game no matter what.

@@Cam10_84 You still dont get those characters once the game comes out though. The only difference between the COTW DLC pass and the other typical passes is that they are packaged together. All of those characters are still going to be released sometime after the game comes out, ergo they still aren't "base roster". Plus, I never do DLC predictions along with base roster predictions. I didnt do it with KOF and Im not gonna do it here. Disagree all you want, I always do base roster and DLC separately...and even with SNK's packaging of COTW, Im sticking to it.

Chirstiano Ronaldo is character number 17 if he's in the base roster. I'm mixed on him, it's a thin line between an endearing homage to a potential corny joke character disaster. I don't want half baked celebrity characters thrown in a game for a quick cash grab. Shaq was trash tier in his own game Shaq Fu but on the opposite end Lebron James was fine in Multiversus.
