It's so cool to get to hear from your childhood idols 20+ years later and even cooler that they are still an inspiration in new ways. All the respect to The Bomb Hole crew and to JP and Jeremy! I'll never forget seeing Technical Difficulties for the fist time as a 14 year old snowboarder - those were the days!

After 25 years of these guys being on my Mt Rushmore, I was in Utah for the first time last weekend and went straight to Brighton after my flight landed on Friday. Just felt like I needed to ride there if only for a couple of hours and it was absolutely worth it. The timing of this episode couldn’t have been any better.

It' so rad that you talked about details like the day-in-a-life section in the 411 video. I don't really know why but this clip was so influential to me back then and still is. I think about it regularly and I'm still stoked about the great vibe it has. Spring day, T-shirt temperatures, head to the already closed resort and build your own little setup, talking shit with friends and having a good time in the slush. This is still pretty much the definition of an awesome snowboard day for me and I try to make it happen at least once a year. Loved the episode! You guys were and still are an absolute inspiration.

The podcast i needed! These two were, and always are my biggest inspiration in snowboarding from day one. Everything about them just fuelled my desire to chase the snowboarding lifestyle coming from an obscure country town in Australia far away from any snow covered mountains in winter. I'm from the same generation as these two being 47, it was such an emotional rollercoaster reconnecting and listening to their stories from over the years and what they are doing now. Forum for life for me, and I now I need that snowboarding fix more than ever after watching this.

I found snowboarding later (19) in life and I idolized the style of these guys with many others, but to truly hear their perspective on the road they forged and what mattered is so unreal. Thank you Jeremy and JP! I had a rough season trying to mimic JP arm control and precision on rails to trying to bring the relaxed “it’s just easy” on the gnarliest rail style of JJ and just loving the grind of riding with friends and pushing our limits. Fuck yeah. This was great. THANK YOU!

Wow. Wasn’t expecting to be brought to tears when I started this four hours ago. Didn’t even expect to finish it tonight. It’s 2am. But what both Jermey and JP shared really resonated with me. I lost everything last year. My health. My business. My home that I built with my own two hands. Everything. To hear Jeremy talk about his recovery and to see JP get so emotional about Roberta…it gives me hope that I too can get through the worst event of my entire life. Thank you for this, Chris. I’m extremely grateful. I’ve had the privilege of buying JP dinner when he came into the restaurant I worked at back in 2002 and I met Jeremy in a parking lot in 2018. They were my idols growing up and they changed the landscape of my favorite art form forever. Much love.

As a grom i wanted a forum board so bad but in Australia we only got the leftovers from US winters. The Aussie dollar was 50 cents to the US dollar so forum boards were landing at 1G! To put that in perspective, rent for a 4 bedroom house in a major city overlooking the water was about 700 per month! It cost me 60$ and two momth wait to get MDP videos. Im kinda glad though i never got the boards. They sounded horrible.
