Raymer crushed it even if he can't see spins under 14

Love the board banter from this studio crew, Raymer is a legend for the snowboard nerds out there. Also 50-50 fatigue is too real

I work at the burton store up in Park City (much love) and Sage said it the best in terms of step-ons, they are really great for the older snowboarder who is tired of having to bend over to strap in (we do get some people who have been riding for 20 years who still sit down to strap in which is crazy) but for the average rider stepons are solid, i do think the marketing for them right now is not the best, anytime burton post a pro rider riding step ons at the park the ENTIRE comment section is just filled with "sure but we know they switched back to their regular bindings right after you got this clip" there is still that stigma against step ons that i think holds them back a little. But, burton has also been big on kids step ons the past couple of years, so i think in probably 5 years (ish) we will get some actual solid park riders who are in stepons because it's all they've ever ridden

Thank god people are finally admitting that the plastic straps are not more comfortable. Came back to snowboarding when these injection molded straps were in full affect and they killed my feet. Went through different boots because everyone was hyping these newer straps as being better. Turned out it was the straps not the boots that caused me pain. Fortunately the straps are changing and getting more comfortable again.

Step-on vs traditional bindings is the same debate as 2-stroke vs 4-stroke
@shambles41613 күн бұрын
Reason I bought supermatics was because of our east coast riding on and off the lift constantly but if I was riding a bigger mountain where the runs take 20mins to ride down I wouldn't need them, so I ride them for the convenience
@shambles41613 күн бұрын
And to add another note, if I rode park I definitely would just use a traditional binding
