Little fact about Grim Matchstick, the Fireball firing in 4 directions was a bug, but was kept in as it made the fight more challenging in a way where it wasnt unfair

Yeah normaly it is spossed to alternate between going up and down or left and right But for some reason both started triggering at the same time

15:15 I like the detail that there is a secret Mini Cuppet if you shrink while Jimmi (spelling?) copies you! An Easter Egg for spotting what’s going on in-universe-wise. The Golden Cuppet is probably an extra strong Cuppet that was going to punish you for having a special ability active during the copy stage. It’s probably unused because the airplane’s special abilities don’t last nearly as long as the would-be-relevant land-based special abilities, like the damage-dealing life ghost or the giant cup of invincibility. It would be awfully unfair to accidentally trigger a more tank-y version of the copy just because you were frame-perfect on activating an ability.

I’m pretty sure that in the 2nd phase of Grimm, the fireball minions HAVE to be viciously smiling to be able to jump up at the player, just something I’ve noticed during regular play.

Worth noticing that Baroness' Von Bon Bon head in the third phase tracks the center of the bottom edge of your hitbox square Also, the cats in Djimmy fight that spawn out of the screen sometimes are still loaded and fly out of the screen towards you.

Great video, though one thing that wasn’t mentioned is that in Wally Warbles last phase, when he does the heart attack, you have to attack his heart to deal damage. Other than that, great explanations!

Through all the times I’ve fought Grimm, I always found the clouds to spawn in a consistent repeating pattern with no randomness. I’m almost positive that Grimm’s clouds aren’t random.

because it sort of is in a pattern, like clouds can only spawn at certain heights with some conditions, so it may look and feel like a pattern but it isn't *totally scripted

In Sugerland Shimmy, Kernel Von Pop will always continue his horizontal direction until he reaches the far edge of the arena even if he moves up/down in the middle. This is also true of Simple and Expert mode.

4:21 [EXTREMELY LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER] i've S ranked Baroness before, and i can tell you that this is not the case. Instead of flipping a coin when going through the middle, colenel von pop will always choose the direction he was moving prior to taking the middle path. If mr. Pop is going left and then takes the middle path, he will always choose to move left after moving through the middle. The same case is found if Mr. Pop if moving to the right prior to taking the middle path.

I thought the candy corn’s direction after moving up or down in the middle of the screen was the same as the direction it was going beforehand? Like if it moves left toward the middle, then moves down, it would keep going left after it reaches the bottom of the screen. I don’t think I’ve ever had it change after vertical movement, but maybe I just haven’t played that boss enough lol
