The idea of separating the trees with paper is awesome. It's so much easier to see what's going on with each individual. Awesome video thanks!

I got myself a couple of boxwoods last year in the winter sales sorry the tear befour it will be now haha! Anyways i kept one outdoors and kept one indoors with my other bonsais in and outdoors you said they were very slow growers but in full sun or grow lamps they are very fast growers in and outdoors! One has been stolen now and i still have the indoor one growing good rite now! I must stress my indoor conditions are not the same as a normal house to say! I keep an eye on the temp n humidity and with the growlamps and humidifier in the one room dedicated to bonsai is perfect for growing all through the year now! You'd probably be shocked by what you see haha! From shohin to airlayers to pines to massive old specimens iv dedicated my life to my bonsai trees and hoping to start selling soon this summer to get the room done more

I bought a boxwood last week as a challenge. It's definitely not the typical bonsai type of tree. But I'm enjoying every minute with it. I'm still trying to figure mine out 🤔 i found it out Walmart with 3 trunks and 2 of them being close together. Wish me luck xD

About how long do you leave the wire on your boxwoods? I've enjoyed watching your videos. Informal with a unique and simple way of explaining why it is you do what you do. Thanks

the wire shouldn't be left on for more than 6 months. there is no definite rule.

Today is 5/27/2012. I have watched part 1 and part 2. Is there a follow up video showing what your boxwood looks like now? I am very interested as I have one very similar that I have been waiting to prune and replant. Thanks for your videos. They are great. Ray

Nice job, please keep making follow-up videos showing how all your bonsai's are doing. How much do you think you bought this box wood for?

I live in Long Island New York. What season can I remove the branches, also cut the roots and transfer it to a bonsai container?

Nice video. I just bought a japanese boxwood at lowes for $4.98. When is the best time to report it. I might pot it in a regular pot for now. Keep up the good work on your videos.

Hello I have a question, can you separate the trees? or should you keep them together? Will that hurt the tree if I try to separate them? I just got one from nursery and I have never worked in a Boxwood so I really do not know them much. Any advise would be helpful..Thank you
