These bench tours are great. It's cool to see people's collections and their unique styles they bring to their benches!

Yes native tea! We have tons! The large dark green leaves. The underside is furry/fuzzy. When it goes from white to dirty yellow, they are ripe! If you look online there are specific times of year for picking tea. 😄 Cursing at the plants is still talking Nigel!🤣🤣🤣 Wisteria is Blue Moon Wisteria! That's the type I picked up! Chinese Wisteria twines counterclockwise and Japanese wisteria goes clockwise! I found that so cool! I learned from one of Peter's videos. Wow John has some really awesome trees!! Can't wait to see more!

I think that Acer palmatum at 10.26 is Osakazuki.

10:43 This actually is an Acer Palmatum Osakazuki I believe. The leaf looks very much like it. Edit: Yeah and if it goes really red in spring it’s definitely an Osakazuki.

Nice stones from the aquarium shop. Not man made, though. Hen & Chicks in a rock, very nice idea. I have a Jade growing in Lava Rock.

Hi, nativ tea is Bog labrador tea - Ledum groenlandicum, is related to rhododendron, cold green shrub, very resistant to low temperatures. The oils made from it repel moths, mosquitoes, and soothe mosquito bites.

I like the way you both discuss the trees. Two great Bonsai Masters that think alike. Excellent part 3.

I have a "contorted mulberry" in the ground. The leaves are bigger than my hands. I keep trying to strike cuttings because they're awesome when they drop their leaves.

Those Japanese Maple leaves really do look like marijuana lol! I've always wanted to grow a marijuan-sai (marijuana bonsai) one year. Im pretty sure they die after they flower, even if you keep them warm, but I just think it'd be cool to have. My bonchi (bonsai chili pepper) is still alive from last year! Maybe there's a chance? Maybe there's like an industrial type of of hemp that'll live for a while. I love watching these tours, gives me so many ideas, motivation, and inspiration. Plus just hearing tree nerds talk about trees is great, since none of my friends are plant people.

I'm n9t a weed grower but I heard the term of "re-veging" of hemp plants. Just as an idea...

@@freakr84 I just looked into it, apparently after they bloom you basically trunk chop it, and have to keep it under grow lights for basically 24 hours a day. Bit of a job, but not undo-able. Thank you! I had never heard of that.
