Sounds to me like you might want to install a cut off valve/spigot on your 55 gallon where it feeds your pond.

I am digging pond in the duck pen about 3m by 2m large. Yes I know its large. Please inform me if your system will work on such a large pond? I do have a swimming pool filtration pump(sand type). Will that work?

I am sure it will work but may not go as long between servicing. We service our about once a quarter.

Love your setup! Our ducks are so cute but dirty I wanna dig a bigger pond but just learning about pumps and trying to find the easiest system. This is very helpful, thank you! Also another video a guy used quilt batting as filter material and it was awesome! The shower poofs are brilliant, sucks had to cap em off more, they're(ducks) like toddlers that mouth everything lol! Cheers to you & and your family.

I have a pond for my ducks and I am having issues with the feathers and dirt what kind of pump would you recommend or do you have I see you didn't have much dirt and water clarity was nice do you have any suggestions thanks for this content
