I friggin’ LOVED this movie as a kid. I rented it so much from one of the video stores in my neighborhood that they just ended up giving me the tape. It wore out after too many repeated viewings, so thank god that, a few years ago, Shout Factory put this out on DVD and Blu-ray.

I had early childhood memories of this film, but had no idea what it was called - thought it was Mandroid, but after searching for it in the early Internet age, I figured I must have made a mistake. I saw a Reddit thread mentioning it a couple of years ago, and finally searched KZbin today. I was right about Mandroid - as that’s the character’s name. It’s crazy that Eliminators is never mentioned anywhere. Weird, but I can imagine why I’d have had fond memories of this as a 6 year old. Looks like it was targeted specifically at that age group. Nice review!
