Desghidorah and Grand Ghidorah are nice twists on the old space dragon too. just what is Grand Ghidorah up to? is it trying to make another Ghidorah? Desghidorah is also a case of the "too badass to die" trope.

@@marhawkman303 There's no such thing as "Grand Ghidorah." He's "King Ghidorah." He's never billed in the movie as anything other than "King Ghidorah/Kingu Gidora." The Japanese title even has his name in it-- "Mosura 3: Kingu Gidora Raishu/Mothra 3: King Ghidorah Attacks." King Ghidorah came to the earth to grow upon the lifeforce of children, just as he'd grew upon the lifeforce of dinosaurs when he was here in prehistory.

I always assumed king ghidorah, death ghidorah and kaiser ghidorah were all meant to be different members of the ghidorah species so I do think of death ghidorah as mothras villain whereas king ghidorah and kaiser ghidorah are godzilla villains

Having a movie with Ghidorah being the cause of the non-avian dinosaurs’ extinction and not involving Godzilla was a huge missed opportunity. Especially considering how the 1991 Godzilla vs King Ghidorah movie went, and both that film and Rebirth of Mothra 3 utilized time travel even.

Mothra Leo is definitely a lot more stronger than regular Mothra. Also one other note, Death Ghidorah is the Kaiju monster & relative of King Ghidorah is the only kaiju within the Godzilla universe that never died in the films let alone been being killed on screen
