I hope this is not only a lesson for the YT Boxing scene, but for everyone in the business of fighting and entertainment: if it’s too good to be true, especially if it’s from an entity that has never thrown an event like this before, waving massive amounts of cash at everybody, it IS too good to be true. This better be massive wake up call to fighters like Gib, who demand massive pay that simply does not track with how much attention they bring, the event was a total farce, a fraudulent business, while it put on two great events, had absolutely no integrity towards those that actually made the event possible and special.

For gib coming off his Austin KO the first time his stock was sky high and now after fighting in an empty arena twice it could mean misfits could pay him less then the original 250k. We CANNOT underestimate Wade’s passion for this scene, his commitment to add value and innovate. We almost do not deserve Wade, but he is loyal to the scene and in 5-10 years we will see the fruits of Wade’s labour. Wade by that time might not be a daily/weekly content creator, but he will be established as the expert in this scene, whether it be promoting fighters or events, working with sponsorships, running his own production company. When you see a young, focussed, purpose-driven man like Wade, you know that he is going to achieve massive things.
