Heading into the fight, Malik Scott was training Tommy to be a more proactive fighter and establish his reach more. The stuff he was teaching Tommy, like showing him how to use a long guard to interrupt his opponent's offense or use his jab from different angles, are things that I think will make him a dangerous fighter if he takes a few months out of the ring to train with Malik. I think once Tommy's finally booked into an event where his fight isn't some late notice bs, he'll rise to redemption quickly.

He's literally had only 1 fight where he was able to fully train for a specific opponent's style, strengths and physical attributes (the King Kenny fight). If Tommy gets into an event where he knows his opponent months in advance, he'll definitely look much better if not win

I know its because he's busy with the dojo but sensei could do so much better if he did that 100+ sparring rounds and working intensively every day. Sensei has more boxing iq on situations also

I hate how everyone uses the excuse that temperrr only had 2 weeks notice, because so did JJ. Jj was in camp training for Dillion. Temper was in camp training for somebody else. They were both STILL training for the same card. Opponent switch up is no excuse when both had the same amount of time to prepare for each other.

They need to stop saying Tommy had short notice they both were training at the same time and found out at the same time they were fighting each other Tommy was literally training already he was fighting on this card even if he wasn’t versing KSI so both were training for different opponents and found out at the same time both had same amount of time to train 🤷🏽

Both were on short notice for each other, but it impacted Temper far more because KSI was always going to be a stylistic nightmare for Temper regardless of the notice, and Danis is closer to Temper than Temper's opponent (who he had no knowledge of btw) would've been to KSI. The outcome wouldn't have been much different anyway as KSI's strengths match up perfectly against Temper's weaknesses.

good point out in hte position... that falls under the dont change stances right in front of someone... if ur slick u can do it backing up at an angle... but toe to toe or freezing and letting them circle u to it is bad newsmy grandma hated i fought mma... and one day i got her to watch with me college years cudnt afford cable so id go watch fights at her apartment time to time.... i dont remember the fight but i do remember telling her a guy is about to get ko'd he keeps changing stance... and 1 second after i said it he did it again and got ko... she was like i thought it was guys brutally beating eahc other explain it.. so as they slow mo replay and explained how ur unable to move with punches properly... to move at waist... how u give a target that cant move for a second. and human reactions just too slow from that close to react in time. she was shocked and i explained fighting does have a science chess side to it.

Salt papi vs jj I wanne see badly, I understand it's a huge risk but it's part of the game. We haven't got an answer to what happens when a counter puncher who will sit down and throw bombs like salt papi does against jj cuz I honestly believe jj would have to adapt and show us a new level to overcome that and for salt papi we know for sure he is skilled, he is powerful but we don't know if a guy can last until later rounds a guy like jj with unquestionably great cardio who isn't afraid to take risks and will go for the ko how does salt papi handle that?

i felt tommy had no hope and rly looked like aguy who had self doubt.... he didnt fight confident he was hesitant didnt put no sting on his shots... i do have aproblem with ksi right now.. he is fighting the easiest fights he can find. he is no fighting guys on his level. cherry opicking a perfect record is the problem with boxing.. too many modern fighters duck and dodge ever fighting guys.... ksi needs to step it up next fights a big one to get someone with a winning record... or im gonna start losing respect

fighting is a young mans sport i agree time off from spotlight good for tommy but a year too long... 6 months maybe a nov dec return this year fair amount of time. few weeks to heal brain not be too ctive.... 6 months working techniques little head contact but technique practice... and last few months back to the hard training minus a couple weeks before fight light sparing at most ocntact before thoise real fights

now that JJ won against temperr, the pressure of having them fighting each other in the misfits camp is kinda gone, so i think it would be very wise for misfits to build temperr up into a superstar now, starting by fixing a fight for him vs a big name that Jake fought, such as Anderson silva. i do believe that Temperr, if he fills the holes in his game and keep working with malik scott, can beat anderson silva. and i really want to see that stylistically !

The mistake was taking the fight. Temper was such a favourable stylistic matchup for KSI. The things Temper needed to do to beat KSI are his biggest weaknesses. It was basically a free win for KSI. I don't know why anyone thought Temper stood a chance.
