Yes! Girl, awwww, I like that you shared some of your story about your struggle with acne. I wish you the absolute best! The hair looks GORGEOUS!!!! 😁

I had acne scars just like these a few months back. I started using Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil face wash and a Konjac sponge, and they've almost all faded away with around 2-3 months (twice daily usage) It may help anyone who has blemishes and acne scarring x

Thank you for being transparent about your acne. I suffer from the same type of acne as well. I wear weave often and I've noticed I break out more when I wear certain types of weave. I had the worst break out recently when I wore a crochets afro using similar hair.

I used to have hormonal acne,but my dermatologist prescribed an antibiotic for 6 months use,a spot treatment and a cream that makes my skin all smooth. Then I'm taking a mild birth control to "calm" my hormones down. Now I have no acne what so ever,but I might get a small bump during that time of the month, that's all. I also use shiseido for my face wash and some aveeno for my moisturizer.

I have been dealing with horrible hormonal breakouts as well. I've been using the biore charcoal cleanser and blackhead scrub twice daily with the vanity planet spin brush. Followed by aveeeno moisturizer and ambi fade cream. This has been helping a lot with the hyper pigmentation. Not sure if you wear makeup everyday but I've been one wearing makeup once a week and drinking only water has helped drastically 💕💕

I didn't know u had acne... I don't mean to be mean but thank God I'm tired of seeing flawless girls 😔 I know it sounds awful but ... when i keep seeing these women with no blemishes perfect hourglass shape no stretch marks I'm like do I have a problem and I keep comparing myself to these people it feels good to know that someone I watch and respect goes through the same struggles I do
@TheBrilliantBeauty8 жыл бұрын
OMG you just spoke to my spirit. My acne is the worst it's ever been, but I've always had imperfect skin. I also have stretch marks, fat in unwanted places, scars, birth marks, you name it. I make a promise to myself and you guys that I'll make an effort to show more images of NORMAL imperfection. XOXO
@JCool1Kid8 жыл бұрын
sooo me! And im tired of people recommending products that worked for them but never works for me as an individual, I've just found that simply praying about your acne and drinking a sufficient amount of water does the job. No need to waste your money on expensive products that rarely work.
@lovejay31578 жыл бұрын
Joy Aziaya yes I agree it's nothing like PRAYER. I got so tired of the over the counter acne facial washes even High end brands that would just irritate your skin so I stopped and just use black soap. I rather use something natural then something filled with chemicals I don't even know. GOD BLESS.

Not trying to push my lifestyle on anyone, but I noticed my skin clearing up when I stopped eating meat and dairy (especially dairy). I've struggled with giving up dairy on and off, but when I consume dairy, the acne comes right back and when I stop it clears up within a few weeks or months. Juicing and smoothies also helped me too. I love all of your videos!!!!

I had the same problem... my grandma started rubbing lemons on my face every night until they are gone. It works! You will have to do this process for a while for it to take effect because yours are more coarse and I'm sure you have used many treatments. But please try this. Wash your face first.

Hey love, I really enjoy watching your tutorials because you are very detailed in giving instructions and your tips help also. I really want to love crochet braids but have found in the past it's too much hair for me or I maybe using the wrong braiding pattern. I would say my hair is slightly pass my shoulder, should I stick with a straight back pattern for a style similar to what you did here in this video? It just seems like I have too much in the back and not enough in the back. How can I style it so that it's a balance all around? Totally confused lol

Just a suggestion, I use a large mouth plastic bottle for the hot water and it makes it much safer for the skin to protect from burning. I find it much easier to use, and all you have to do is hold each curled rod down in it for a few seconds and have a thick towel ready to wrap around it when you take it out, I think you'll like it. And for the smaller rods you can use a smaller plastic bottle with the same technique.
