FOV Setting: - The FOV setting in Battlefield 2042 uses a vertical FOV, not a horizontal FOV like most other FPS games. So remember when you set the fov to 90, it is not actually a horizontal 90 fov. Like i prefer to have a horizontal fov of 110, and in order to get that, i have to set my BF2042 vertical fov to 78!

I am using your settings of BF1 with BF1 curve, no acceleration and deadzones to 11 and it feels awesome. The aim assist is super consistent and I don't struggle to push the crossair through the slowdown.

Dice states that vertical aim ration set to 100 makes left and right speed the same as up and down speed. It does not. if you want them both to be the same, I advise you try and test different values until they FEEL the same. To me, settings VAR to around 80 makes up and down speed feel the same as left and right

You brush over a lot of the settings and don’t explain what they actually do. Some of them are quite important settings. You just tell people what to set them at (which is subjective). Not much of a tutorial or guide 🤷🏽‍♂️

The first 1:30 of the video he tells you to use whatever settings work for you in other games and for vehicles open a private server and have a play with the settings. That's the best advice and tip there is. As for other settings those are his preferred settings. Anyone watching this video looking for an explanation of every setting like yourself probably should go in to a game with bots and change them and find out what they do. And if you copy and paste someone's setting in an fps game you are setting up to fail yourself. Fps game settings are like art. It's all subjective

@@dannyx2737hi mate. I’m not asking for an explanation of every setting. I’ve been playing the game since release. I know what all the settings do. I run servers and also make use of the rules editor. In fact, you have to spend a degree of time playing with settings and testing them because dice’s explanations of what some settings do are often wrong or misleading. My original comment on this video was merely inferring that he doesn’t actually provide much help at all to anyone wanting to understand what each setting does. 👍🏼

Individual scope aim sensitivities. I disagree. I advise setting these relative to the distance that your engagements with these different scopes are used at. In short, you’d want low mag scopes to have higher sensitivities and you’d want high mag scopes to have lower sensitivities. Try and see, thank me later

Drop the first aim assist down to 60-80, thats sticky aim, believe thats your issue.

Best settings are 100 sensitivity with max FOV and some sort of “modded” controller like an elite for you’re action buttons 🤌🏽

I use a DUAL SENSE EDGE, it is very nice. Best sensitivity is preference tho, same for FOV - always PROS and CONS.

@@TheBrokenMachine yeah, it definitely took me a while to be able to handle 100 sense. I use max FOV though cause it lets you see so much on either side of you, idk what the con would be to using max, I feel like any lower and you’re handicapping yourself to the countless others who do use max FOV. Same with folks who just never tac sprint, I mean I get the sprint to fire is slower from tac sprint, but it lets you move so fast that if you play with high sense you can literally dodge bullets 😂

The duel sense edge has more customization in it's software for the curves as well. I use both Elite Series and Edge. The new setting in season six help the Xbox the most. Playstation I've left it alone because my settings in the Edge software.
