How to paint Orc Skin, 3

In this short video I'll be showing another method of how I paint up orc skin for Middle Earth Strategy Battle Orcs. If you watch any scene with orcs in you'll see how many different skin tones they have, so it's nice to get a deent variety on the tabletop.

Can you do another one of these with a blue-ish skin or maybe a red skin?

Funny you should say that, working on a blueish one at the moment - the first attempt was really vivid and looked too wild! hoping to get it right next time! haha :). There will be more to come though :)

@@BrushandBoltgun Good to know. I had the same problem with blue because blue is such a strong colour you really have to desaturate it.

Totally! I used a shade over Deepkin Flesh and it was waaaay too blue. There’ll be a way though. One of my jobs for the next week :)

@@BrushandBoltgun Maybe a basecoat of Ulthuan Grey and wash with plane Nuln Oil? Highlight with some other blue-ish white?
