I remain impressed by how much you get done, Miko. These ideas are so good. Enchiladas are a delicious dinner! 💚

Wow. You have a lot going on for 2025! 😊 We did GREAT in January for food; both groceries and eating out. We ate dinner at home every day, except for 3 nights. We both packed lunch the majority of the month. 🎉 💙💜💙

Yay! the bill tracker will be coming back. I get paid weekly so that page is helpful over the course of the month. I printed out a copy from a previous digital copy of the BBP workbook and use that.

Yeah to the bill tracker coming back!! I use it for my annual bills (life insurance, car insurance, pet vet visits, compost, etc). Thank you for adding it back in. PS…I also used the Medical page for tracing our FSA spending. I miss that being in my workbook!

Oh! I never thought to use the Medical Page for HSA/FSA. Great idea!

You've probably already addressed this in past videos but I'm new to your community. How does your hubby's spending factor here, it doesn't look like you track his spending.

They have a joint account and he also has his own account. He was giving her some money at the beginning of the month for her account. He cut back his work hours so he can be with their baby and she is increasing her paycheck from her business...so I don't think he is giving her extra money anymore.

Are you going back to cash envelopes for variable expenses other than food? You made reference to using leftover money in cash envelopes for savings challenges and your only cash envelopes are groceries and hay. I don't know about anyone else but I am finding there isn't much grocery money leftover these days and it will get worse!! I use cash envelopes in my wallet for Dining out, my personal spending, Household and Miscellaneous. Grocery money stays in the bank and everything else is in Sinking funds either in the bank or in binders at home. I usually have a little leftover in my wallet for savings challenges but if your only cash envelope is groceries I can't see how your savings will grow with challenges.

I'm not sure! As of right now I plan on keeping it cashless.
