Try shortening the bridge and lower the tether to about chin height. That’s really comfortable for me.

I did mention that a lower tether is comfortable for me but I don’t like sacrificing the mobility of a really short tether.

I have the TETHRD Ultralock. My main belt connection is constantly loosening up. Does the Roost do that too?

As of now, I have not had that problem. It seems to hold tight.

Which is more comfortable? One of these or the Custom Gear Cobra?

That is a really tough question. In my option, comfort is a bit subjective and has many factors like body shape, hunting style etc. I also have way more seat time in the cobra. I would suggest you choose based on the features you like. Two panel saddle vs pleated saddle and the features that each saddle has to offer. Both companies are American made and offer great quality and I don’t think you will be disappointed with the comfort of either one.

That would be difficult to say. I’ve now spent quite a bit of time with the buzzard roost and have only come to enjoy it more with time. I have only had a chance to try a method (or method 2) a couple of times just for a few short minutes each time at saddle hunter meet ups. The method 2 is a fine saddle, I just don’t have the experience to give a fair comparison.

I would suggest reaching out to buzzard roost for clarification. I believe it’s $40 for upgraded buckles in the leg straps. I believe the base price includes G hook attachment method.
