You're the absolute definition of an aussie bloke with that accent, slang and a can do DIY attitude. Good on ya mate.

Mark I’ve just realised something, when my Dad was working in his shed or was working in the garden he never wore an ironed shirt just like you but any other time it had to be ironed. Maybe this is why I enjoy your channel. You are both hard working and love using your hands

Pink Primer was pink due to it being based on red lead. Any modern white primer is fine to use. I expect the modern pink Primer wouldn't have lead in it now.

Hello, my name is Brad Oliphant, and I have a question for you. Next year, in NYC, I will be a single hive owner, and am wanting to attempt to mimic a Layens hive in two langstroths. If I were to screw two frames together, a deep frame and a shallow frame, then clipping off the sides of the lower shallow frame, would this work out for me? And of course, I would fix together a deep and a shallow box for them to go in. Thank you for your help.

Hey, what about applying beeswax on the wood to make it waterproof?
@iangodfrey45184 жыл бұрын
Heat up some linseed oil and melt some beeswax in it. I've done that - seems to work ok.

Hello Bush Man. Love all your videos, and your amazing humor. Listen, can you make Layen Frames. I don't own a shop and am looking to hire someone to make me 10 modified, unassembled layen frames. If you able and interested, please let me you and I'll send you measurements. I'm happy to pay for everything!

Why did you stop using polystyrene hives? Paint them once, they don't rot, provide super insulation, etc.
