In shape, except for the upper launch shafts, they are similar, even the wings of both are closer.

That Belgorod sub is most impressive; looks like something out of a sci-fi movie.

As usual so many errors. There are not a few Typhoons still in service. There are none now and for the past decade there has been only one so there have not been a 'few' for some time.

Interesting to see the two large cylindrical objects on the deck of the Ohio 5:05. I suspect these are remotely operated vehicles, used to extend the range of the sub's sensors and to act as decoys to confuse the enemy.

The video is surely appreciatable and informative a like from Indian's. As a Indian i would suggest can you make a video related to Indian Navy future plans mainly about it's Aircraft carrier fleet and Nuclear Submarines fleet. Let me know in reply. Like from India

The s5 class SSBNs will be constructed, with a displacement of 13,500 tons. Thats actually prety huge considering the operating conditions and ambitions of the navy. The navy currently, out of the tri services, is at the pinnacle of planning and execution. Quick, pushing indigenisation and modernisation. From the budget which is going to be allocated for the construction of the 2nd Indigenous Aircraft Carrier, it can be figured out that this A.C. is going to be a 65,000 ton class ship, as the capital to be alloted is more than double the Vikrant's cost including R&D, resource accumulation etc. Apart from that, they're pushing limits in all categories.

The Russians never learn. Large submarines have proved disastrous in the past. The Typhoons were a classic example as they were slow, noisy and lacked the ability to manoeuvre in a timely manner.

The American Ohio class and the newly being made Columbia class are built for stealth. Where as the Typhoon class soviet one is loud and large. And are likely nearly always known where they are. The newly being build K-329 Belgorod one also wont be very stealthy The main thing for a submarine is stealth.

@@jamsbond45 According to Russian propaganda. After all russias talk before they started a war in Ukraine, that fooled everyone into thinking they were something special to what they have proved in the disaster in Ukraine. Anyone would be a fool to believe anything they say. For a start they claimed to have hypersonic missiles which turned out to be 1980s tech and are literally just air launched from a jet ballistic missiles. They dont have a scramjet engine. They are just ballistic missiles and by that Russian logic we could say that the V2 was a hypersonic missile just because it could hit mach 5, when nearly every single ballistic missile on the planet hits above mach 5. And mach 5 is only 1 of many different components that qualify a missile as a true hypersonic missile. Again just Russian propaganda that the western media is stupid enough to believe just as they were stupid enough to believe that Russia are the second most powerful military in the world excluding nuclear weapons. They are not without China, north Korea and Iran they wouldn't even be able to maintain this war. China controls modern day Russia now.

@@jamsbond45 But due to its loudness, it will always have one or two Virginia class hunter-killers in attendance, which will kill it the moment it starts attempting to fire that Poseidon.

I wudnt go that far as the borie class sub as there's only 1 & is the newest sub in the russian fleet was started by the soviets & took 30yrs to finish & has 4 different attempts at doing sea trials over the last 4 yrs but each time it had to be cut short due to faults so returned to port

Building weaponry in general is kind of the only goal of Russia and formerly USSR. To have more tanks than all other world combined, to have more megatons than anybody else etc.
