I'll tell you one thing, Jimmy is a class act. Great ANZAC coverage.

Question for next week: As ex/current NRL players, what are your thoughts on the overall refereeing of the game? As a viewer it seems inconsistent from week to week and the importance of the moment in the game dictates if a call will be made more so than the infringement itself. The referees seem scared of the coaches and afraid to lose their position if they make an error but the flipside is obvious sinbin infringements are going unpunished until the match review eg Schindler ankle tap on Olam and teddys foot trip.

Shocking. But it's the new rule interpretations that take the decision out of the referees hands. They are not given a common sense or discretion licence, which eliminates the referees feel for the game. I actually feel sorry for the referees. They are pretty much forced to ref the way they are, which is absolutely hopeless, and that's why you can never know who's going to win. You can't even celebrate a try as it's scored as they go back to find anything wrong with the entire play. Sad, really 😢😢😢

To the Cheese - Massive Roosters fan but I am struggling to see our game play, why aren’t we clicking? Why do we throw silly passes in our red zone and why are we not kicking to the wings

Question for James and Brandon. Do players eligible for SoO have reputation/value enhanced while the Kiwis and England and other ineligible players (example Kikau) are undervalued. Should England/GB play NZ at Origin time to give non-eligible players equal treatment?

Question: speaking of the Dragons' eleven in a row, I have always thought that if I were the CEO of a new club which could pick players from any era, Norm Provan would be one of my first picks. A team does not win that many championships without a stellar leader on the team and Provan must have been that. Because sport is otherwise littered with guys with tremendous talent who should have been leaders, but clearly did not have it. For example, my Green Bay Packers enjoyed three decades of absolutely elite, hall of fame quarterback play, but only won two comps. Whereas I look at someone like Tom Brady (who did not have the physical skills of either Favre or Rodgers at Green Bay) and how many comps he won and am convinced that true leadership is as important in sport as it is in life. Would love to hear both of your thoughts on this. (And, as a fellow Karl PIlkington admirer, here is one for Jimmy: the initials are HH and the clue is, "That woman's got her husband's gloves and a pair of her own." I know that you know the answer, but even when you know it, it is still CLASSIC!)

Latrell's instagram bio was "Full time farmer, part time footy player" up until a couple of weeks ago. He's now changed it to "Full time footy player, part time farmer". So for you to say that's a huge insult from Brad Arthur to say that about his players, Latrell was saying that about HIMSELF. lol. Shows you where his heads been at.

Hi Jam and Cheese. Cheers for the content. I reckon rugby league is lucky to have such a top bloke like cheese. Great genuine personality and goes harder on the field than anybody. Question for Cheese..I saw a pod cast a while ago where you mentioned Cam Smith puts WD40 on his knees. I have been wondering ever since if that was fair dinkum or what?

Loved the hypothetical segment. Here's a classic, who would win? A bear or a shark? Serious question: Do players have training around rules? E.g when hughes challenged the decision that his kick was touched by lindsay collin's head but it was not played at, why would he risk a challenge so early in the game? Why do referees ref games differently for certain matchups? E.g Knights vs dogs, the first half the knights were slowing the play the ball and not a single penalty was blown, but if it was a top 4 team vs top 4 team, they'd penalise it?

Cheese mate 8 seconds to cross the width ahahaha. I guess with a massive dive possible but to go the 17 metres across in 8 seconds you'd have to be doin a little over 2 metres a second. Phelps at his peak swam that fast ahahahah

Hi Jam and Cheese, huge fan of the show and I have a very fun question for you guys. Would you rather score the match winning try in the dying seconds every game this season but in doing so you 💩 yourself every time, or would you rather lose every game this season in the dying seconds by you conceding an unnecessary penalty in front of the sticks resulting in a penalty goal and a 1 point loss? Would love to hear a response from the Cheese and even Jammer if it were your final season in the NRL.

It is only a disappointing loss if you play with and/or support the chickens. And, the Broncos are without Haas, Reynolds, Piakura and Mariner. Plus, they lost Capewell, Farnworth and Flegler. So, without these players they are doing ok. Should have a full strength side against the Wests Tigers.
