Glenn, don't know how you do such great videos in such small places. Great job and really enjoying everything.

Thank you very much! This one was certainly one of the tighter spaces we filmed in. 😂

So glad we found your page, and very glad you updated your gear to a much higher quality 4K camera. I would love to see you revisit some of the other locations you visited in Utah and Nevada with this new 4K setup so we can properly enjoy the way it looks. This area is so stunning and colorful! I hope your channel continues to grow and gets even bigger now that you have this beautiful new camera setup!

Thank you so much! We definitely would love to go back to prior locations and refilm in 4K. Just have to balance work/filming and old/new content. 😅

It is a strange substance for sure. Very odd to think about it being so tall but with so much potential to just crumble away.

What an interesting and unexpected place! And those walls of solid clay have the amateur geologist in me scratching my head. I can’t wait to look this place up and learn more about how it formed. Really cool!

Glad you enjoyed it! It's really cool to think of what the area started as, what it looks like now, and what it may become some day, isn't it? 😊

Nothing wrong with being on the fluffy side. Keeps us from going into places we shouldn't go sometimes. 🤪🤭😉

Haha! On one of my other favorite hiking channels, the gentleman and his friends described themselves as bear-shaped. Gotta love 'em!

LOL! I suppose that is a good point. Especially if a 50 foot drop is involved. 😂

I appreciate so much that you showed this extremely unusual place. Never heard of it, but really worth it, and easy to reach with a regular car.

I just found out this SP today. so glad it's not too late to add it to my upcoming road trip to zion from Seattle next April. I am also thrilled to find out campsites can be booked in advance starting next year. it's a good news for people who plan ahead and like to be garranted with a place to stay overnight.
@CactusAtlas2 жыл бұрын
We hear ya! Nothing worse than finding a campground you really want to stay at and driving there from far away just HOPING that there's something available. We've definitely encountered that before. The worst! Happy travels on that future Zion trip! 😊

Great to see how excited you get about each new discovery. We poked around Cathedral Gorge SP for a whole day in March of this year. Thought we'd seen most all of them. But didn't find that 50 ft drop pit slot. Us kids from the Redwood forest, (and the Pacific Ocean) love to vacation in these kinds of places...

Another place I didn't know about. Absolutely fascinating! I'm glad you went most of the way into each canyon. I'm not so sure I would be that brave.

Happy to help you find new places! There were so many nooks in that place and when strangers tell you about hidden areas, you almost feel obligated to check them out. 😅
@gstiles73 жыл бұрын
WOW, I think that may have been my favorite trip so far. Those different slot canyons were so cool! I bet you noticed while editing, but it's very deceptive how wide those paths are cause there were several times when I thought your camera was barely fitting through there let alone you, just AWESOME!!!
@CactusAtlas3 жыл бұрын
It's pretty deceiving, isn't it? I wish the camera could really illustrate height, depth, and verticality better. So hard to get the real feel for places.
@SwiftyTravels3 жыл бұрын
Ive never heard of this park! Thanks for exploring this unique area! I would be a little worried I would get lost inside there! Is it a maze inside there or is each path pretty much a one way?
@CactusAtlas3 жыл бұрын
I think it would be hard to get lost. All paths dead end and there are not too many choices. So almost one way, with a couple diversions here and there

Stay off the beaten path Glenn..what makes TCA interesting..and of course, your hat...btw, drones are illegal in Utah state parks unless with a permit and I doubt they had one...thanks and take care!

Hahah. Glenn saw the hat and had to get it. Didn't know about drones in Utah. I'm with you in believing the person likely didn't have a permit. Thanks for watching our video. We always appreciate it. 😄
