Years ago a bunch of us thought it would be cool to have a "Luke Skywalker" (LSD) party camping in the Gorge in the moonlight. About 4 hours in the moonlight turned into torrential rain that liquified everything around us.

You mentioned bats. They can't grab onto the soft Bentonite soil when upside down as it crumbles. Native Americans never stay around very long because of flooding when it rained centuries ago. You get to see a prestine natural area that is always eroding created millions of years ago by volcanic ash. Looks like an Alaska couple who should be interviewed by Bob from Cheap RV Living. Bet they have some great stories to tell! Great hike Sarah and thanks for taking us along.

You hit the gorge at just the right time of day. The shadowing was perfect, I felt like I could feel the texture of that crumbly rock! And that homebuilt overland rig is totally sick. Reminds me of a rig I saw in Yellowstone 50 years ago, guy built a little cabin on a light-duty cab and chassis Chevy.

Looks like a place you don't want to be in when it rains even if you have a 4wheel drive. There IA a spot north of me that almost resembles that park. Actually 2 lol. Toad stool park and badlands national park in south Dakota. I still haven't hiked Toad stool yet but will probably this year. Safe travels Sarah and little one. Happy mothers day 😊

Definitely some kool areas and slot canyons. The different nomadic vehicle's is always kool and the ideas that come to life is awesome. Part of me wishes I built an overland set up first...but I do want a new tow vehicle and will have the opportunity to make it an overlander when I decide not to pull the cargo conversion trailer. I couldn't make it in your jeep for space and give ya credit for making it work for ya....and I have to have a full indoor shower like I built in my conversion. I'm not showering outside....no...no...no...😂

Unreal, looks like a Greek coliseum 5:25, minature Grand Canyon, and Hollywood movie set too. Does it flash flood, is that why the cave changed? Very beautiful, ancient, a cool place to explore. Thanks for vlogging, I realized during lockdown, I live vicariously thru Wonderhussy's adventures,,,same w you! No need to to travel, you bring the magnificence of nature to my device! Have you heard of the massive cave back east where an actual playable cathedral pipe organ was built? And the stalagmites/stalactites are the musical pipes!

Towards the end of the video your caption, mentioned take a walk with mother nature etc....I fully agree. It's BS the people who have all the power and influence of the US economy....have created these inflated prices on everything, so the heavy majority of people, are unable to consistently do this. I grew up in a home of mostly enough to pay the bills, and not much else. That all changed in 2002. 3 friends and I have been living similar to you since then.

Beautiful place, I looked on Google maps for that park and it looked like I've been through that area, and I was wondering why I've never heard of it. Then I looked at an actual honest to God map and realized I was about fifty miles east of there. Before I moved to Arizona I thought nevada was one of those bare desolate places, because all I knew of it was the desert around Las Vegas.
