The best thing for a daschund is lots of cuddles, lots of kisses, treats, and in my doxie Fritz’s favorite thing, sharing a bowl of popcorn! Oh! also, sleeping under the sheets by mommy’s feet! Believe me these things work Everytime!

Elementary School I went to when I lived in Germany (american DODDS school) had a dachshund as a mascot . The dog actually belonged to the school principal .

This can be anxious or submissive behaviour, or dominant, if it's a male and not nutered.
