Great profile! To anyone looking to play this, I also recommend running at least a single copy of dragunity oubliette; it negates things like dark ruler no more, lightning storm and impermanence which can really hurt the deck, it’s searchable through romulus and it’s a senatus discard target. There’s also a broken combo that leaves you with areadbahir, crystal wing, borreload, spherers, oubliette AND buster lock, so basically 5 disruptions plus no extra deck. If anyone’s interested I can share the link to a video that shows it quite well.

Pretty sure Gae Dearg's pronunciation is actually closer to other pronunciation you were using since thats how you would say the name of the Irish spear its named after. Also its Arma Laevatein named after the Nordic weapon, not Leviathan. That aside the deck is very fun, thanks for sharing the deck profile, I'm sure I'll have a blast driving my friends insane with the immortal Couse that won't stop coming back.

3 Mistilteinn 3 Glow 3 Phalanx yes all are great cards, but can be kinda stuck in your hand no? I would play these too, but with smaller ratios, 1 Mistilteinn, 1 Glow (maybe 2), but 2 Phalanx Another Baby Roc could also be handy, as in some turns you can loop Gae Dearg multiple times (or for turn 3 ...) Arma Gram, can also be tricy but is surely a neet tool/add on. After seeing the combos I see why you play more then one Mistilteinn, but still think with the others the consistancy could be a bit rought but thank you for the video :) has been insightfull

I don't think it would brick too much and it's always a top deck later on cause you only run 1x of those Extra mons.

Good video, but I disagree with not playing the amorphage package, it makes the board immune to dark ruler/droplet/super poly and also disabled their engine spells. It is very much worth the extra deck slot

You can still end on very strong boards without the amorphages, so its not necessay, you can play less bricks and get more consistency.

Yo, its kinda controverse saying you want to reduce bricks in Dragunity. We have a ton of 1-2card starters and if you play the gea darg loops, Bricks turn into discard fodder or actually allow you to search other cards instead of the bricks in the combo. I dont disagree that the "less bricks" reasoning has an argument if u play over levyaten over Red med +you dont loop G.D, i just dont like this approach in General. Personal preference at the end, i assume.

Hieratic Dragon King of Atum probably works. Dragunity players are having a little trouble getting the combo together, but it probably works.

While I understand the theory behind not playing revolution, I’d much rather see an extender than glow almost all of the time since it’s what you’re searching anyway. It allows the combo you showed to make crystal on summon 5 and then play, while if they hit rom in yours, your turn ends. That being said, you are playing 3 glow, so you have fairly high odds of seeing it and bating the opponent’s HT there

Why do we need Babyroc and Gae Dearg? Vajrayana and equiping Phalanx gets me to the same result and Kuse allows me to go into a level 10 synchro instead. Getting Phalanx into the GY does not seem like a problem. Can someone please clarify this? Dragunity is one of my favourite decks of all time and I never got this.

gae dearg gives you at least 2 extenders during the combo (baby roc and zephyros). If you play Vajrayana into areadbhair the end board will be Crystal wing + areadbhair and isn't enough

Gae dearg is very important searching baby roc to go into romulus or crystal wing without using a normal summon, and after that searching a second time to get Zephyros to extend. Your ending board should be areadbhair, buster lock and seal at minimum.

Discarding it multiple times does not really seem like a regular play to me and there is not really any use for it in the GY. Does it still have a purpose now that Remus is out and played at 3? Or is it really just the slight increase in probability that you already have 1 in 4 instead of 3 of Gae dearg targets in your hand to allow you to search for sth else?

@@MansMan42069 very close. Gay Bulg (rhymes with plug), not Gay Bulge which would be funny 😂 Bulg is kind of a bastardization of Bolg (stomach in Irish). So it's literally the "belly spear"...because that's where Cú Chùlainn (Koo Cull-inn) hit people with it. Gae Bulg's cool name is the Spear of Mortal Pain. I'd imagine getting hit in the gut with a tiered, notched (essentially barbed) spear in the stomach would be pretty damn painful.

the combo is relatively the same. The only problem is that, unless u have a very good hand, u will not end on spheres and also trish is not as easy to use. Try dropping trishula and put triple burst and also put the darkness metal, the dragon of dark steel in ur extra. Needs a little handling but the combo is almost the same as before. Hope that I helped u a little :D

Well a seachable Oubliette fixes that problem, but even without it if you DRNM, ariedbhair, savage and leyveten are huge, seal can still activate its second effect and arma gram, remus and legatus give lots of follow up plays for the next turn. I know this from experience, cause i play the deck.

@@andrepayne4349 Dude, I too play the deck and I know that huge monsters means nothing in today's game. If all of your monsters die, leyvaten needs something to banish. That's why I prefer to run goliath lechery. I doesn't matter if you have follow up because unless you really want to run arma gram for some reason, you will be so far behind in resources that you may not be able to recover.
