The TTArtisan 56mm f1.8 has been surprisingly impressive in terms of both performance and design. It’s got this solid, metal construction that’s hard to find at this price, and the image quality is genuinely impressive - sharp in the center and soft in the background just like I like for portraits.

yea at this price, metal build is very welcome . There is alot of competition today when it comes to budget lenses.

Instead of saying that the better product should be mode expensive the correct way to say it should be that the worse product should lower pricing...

Really hard. Some people may want different things . They each hold strong pros and cons . Price point wise, it can go either way. I hope you choose wisely

Nice comparison video. I bought the TTArtisan lens and it's crazy sharp for portraits. It feels like the lens I have is performing better than the sample shots in the review.

Nice!! As long as you enjoyed it then its all that matters🫡 One day try the Viltrox, its sharp but both still good . Cant go wrong

I saw this review last night, I had already ordered the TTArtisan lens last week (since it was cheap) and was surprised how different each reviewer rated these two lenses during their comparisons. The added benefit of being usable on a full frame sensor as well surprises me, and I now at least know that I'd have something to shoot with if I ever decide to switch to a full frame body in the future from my Z30. Thank you for testing that and mentioning it in your video!

No worry! Yes, there is a few lenses that can do this. In video its usable. Heck I just used the other day I realized in Full frame. Photo you may need to crop a little bit on the edges but still you get a wider field of view over apsc so almost like 2 lens in one for apsc. Glad you enjoyed the video and appreciate your time🫡.

loved the video! i just received the ttartisan lens for my sony a6000 and found it to be way sharper than it appears on your samples, could it just be better AF optimization for sony?

KZbin compression😭😭, but Viltrox is very sharp. Even in the lens element make up, it says it all for the Viltrox. If you are happy with your TTartisan sharpness level, that is awesome. Otherwise the Viltrox really made my wrinkles stick out a lot. Super sharp.

@@theCameraVille oh yeah didn't think about the compression then maybe they are the same

TTartisan do not need a lens cap when u are using the lens hood. I leave the hood on all the time, it is very effective to protect the lens.
@theCameraVille16 күн бұрын
Yea, it depends on the situation.
@shzammpatapon98653 ай бұрын
that explains why the ttartisan is massive, the viltrox reminds me of the sigma 56mm, both are incredibly impossibily compact and that's what i love about them, they are made for apsc first and foremost
@theCameraVille3 ай бұрын
Yup, if you compare them to a Fullframe 84 its night and day when it comes to size.
