The reason the Viltrox is sharper in the background is probably due to stronger field curvature in the Sigma. The effect may be desirable for portraits where you want more background separation. Given the focal length, the Sigma seems to be geared for portraiture more than the Viltrox. The Viltrox delivers an impressive performance though. Good comparison.

I like the sigma colors and rendering better. It's the better portrait lens. The color on the viltrox is not that good, and it looks darker. However, if your budget is tight the viltrox is decent.

Yup only Fuji and Nikon for now. I bet they do a Sony. $140 is still insane price. Im so confuse. 🤦‍♂️ I thought it was a typo and they said no. Its $139 🤦‍♂️
