Whenever rival fans say, "but Salah is better (than Saka)", I always reply, "Do you hear what you are saying? You're comparing him to Salah, one of the best players ever in Premier League history. That means you already think he's good enough to be compared." When they backtrack, i press on, "I don't hear you comparing Cole Palmer to Salah." There's banter, but I won't stand for bullcrap.

What I like about Saka is he doesn’t have those typical star allures,no ear rings,doesn’t look like a gangster covered hos body full of tattoos. He is a very humble guy and hungry for success!

Calafiori reminds me a little of Gabriel before Arteta became the manager where he just seems to over-commit and a little too aggressive into tackle opportunities. If he can progress the same as Gabriel over the next few years we will have another top-level player!

Most of our play already goes down the right, and it passes through Saka. Whenever we break, our usual first option is going to Saka direct, long ball or short. Odegaard does it, Partey does it. That's why we want a left hand side equivalent. So this idea that we dont platform him is misleading. He is having the same impact as Salah, on the same wing, with more defensive output. Keep it up guys!

Rayas positioning for the free kick was poor he goaded Emerson into that and it bit him in the arse. Ricky's over committing tackles and sterling not beating his man down the line other than that as a whole it was a great first half performance second half was library tackle.

He's certainly struggling. You could tell how upset he was at not converting his chances in the second half. He desperately wants and needs a goal.That being said, it's making him play selfish football. He needs to just focus on making the right play, and the goals will hopefully come.
