Beautiful boat!! I have a 1969 22ft Bertram that I completely redid couple years ago and I know the feeling. Don’t want to even think about the money let alone the blood, sweat, and tears that I put into it but was totally worth it.

An absolute unreal build John, a real credit to you, I am doing up a 25 at the moment I’m in the same boat as you with identification I found the same thing with my hoodlining in the cabin mine said B25 318, international marine said it’s around 1979 so yours must be pretty early could even be American import before international marine made them over here

very nice boat, these Bertrams and Caribbean boats were built by International Marine, i had a Caribbean Reef Runner 6-5 mt for twenty one years , repowered it three times and refitted it and had no problem selling it, new these Boats are still amongst the best you can buy

Spectacular... I had to edit and add this... John's boat should be at the Sydney Boat Show in Darling Harbour - The vessel is a perfect example of what can be done with a classic. So many people just toss out the old, buy some trendy Euro plastic thing and never try to update the classics. John learned his skills well... Thank you for sharing; most appreciated.
