Thank you my man....My C4 Airdream battery died today so I picked up the spare which has been hanging on a hook for 18 months, only to find out it too had died. Your video enabled me to change both batteries (I bought Energizer). Superb, thanks again for the help on this.

Hi Christopher, it sounds like the locking pin isn't holding it in. I have replaced the case on one of these yet sorry. I suspect a new case would fix it

I expect you turn the ignition on, press any button for a few seconds and that should do it

No i just mehanicaly open and close door for a while and after some time key will learn the code again 🤣

I did it exactly as you did. Now my key isnt working anymore. I cant resync it with my car (c4 2011). When I tried to resync it I followed the instructions in the manual but it did not work. Now I have a dead key and no idea how to fix it. Do you or anyone else have an idea what might be wrong or how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Ok, have you put the old battery back in? Does it work then

@@TheCarKeyMan Sry that I did not mention that but yes I did and nothing changed. We also tested the new battery and there is tension so its not broken.
