I completely agree with your sentiments Jacob. I don't understand why some folks can't just be happy for people being happy. If you haven't seen it before, check out Limmy's sketch about swings, sums it all up perfectly, I think! Just keep being your jolly happy selves doing all the things that make you jolly and happy and anyone who doesn't understand it or thinks it is childish, well, that is their issue and I feel for them. We all keep watching because we love to see you and Jenn enjoying yourselves so keep doing what ya doing I say ^_^ Sending lots of love from the UK

You and your videos make all of us feel better about this world. We appreciate you more than you know. Thank you, Jacob, for always being so open and able to share this special stuff with all of us. Don't stop cherishing your inner child. We all hold our inner child close and appreciate you for sharing the things that you love with us. It means a lot. The only childish thing I see is those who think there's a place for negativity in the world. The silver lining to those comments is that every one of them is still showing you support whether they know it or not. So, I'd like to personally thank any negative person for their support by commenting on your videos. To those people, please don't continue the negativity, but please continue the support 😀. Best wishes Jacob!

I am 64, and I love Charlie Brown, candy, ice cream, playing with legos (use my grandkids as an excuse lol). Enjoy your youth. It only happens once. Wring every last amount of joy and play that you can, and then keep on doing it. God bless you and Jenn. And when people ask you why this and why that…just say, because why not? You don’t have to explain your life to those people. I’ve been asked how it feels to get old. My response, “Well, it sure beats the alternative.”

Great topic! Being a 50-something with a mortgage, 401k and a great career, I am the poster child for "responsible adult." Early on I had angst/shame about my "childish" hobbies, but now I've found peace. As long as my adult responsibilities are covered, my inner-child is allowed to run free.

What is life without whimsy? What you do, while it might not be apparent to some, is important. For me personally, your videos give me a way to live vicariously through you. I'm disabled and don't get out much anymore, but I love watching all of your adventures, so much so that my family has grown accustomed to hearing about where you're visiting each day. In the same vein, I have surrounded myself with things that would be considered childish, and I don't apologize for it. Life can be so devoid of joy. Why would I deprive myself of something that makes me happy, especially when it's not affecting anyone else negatively. Keep being you!

I honestly had so many feelings about this video. From a psychology standpoint I think that a lot of the people that comment these things are just projecting their childhood traumas on to you. For example maybe they weren't allowed to have these things growing up, or they had parents that couldn't afford these things, so they were made to feel bad or "irresponsible" for wanting to enjoy "childish things." Another reason could be that they just had toxic parents who didn't want a "Weird" child, so they shot down any form of self-expression. It could honestly be a plethora of things. But as a person who has delt with the examples given from my own family, I am happy you make these videos. They give US "weird" and "irresponsible" adults a place to feel safe and not judged while still being able to enjoy the things we love. ALL AND ALL we love you no matter where you go and what you do. Keep being you and tell Jenn I said HI💖😼

This video made me tear up a little bit. I'm A 42-year-old total loner with no friends. I gave up on all my hopes and dreams and I just work a normal job and come home to a room by myself everyday. I lost my inner child. I gave up on life. I don't even know what fun is. But I will say one thing you're only as old as you feel inside and take me as an example to please never lose that childhood innocence because when it's gone it's gone. I would do anything to find one person in this world to share this life with and to bring the joy back to my heart and to experience the fun from years past. But sadly that is probably a dream that like all my others is dead and gone. But thanks to people like you who make videos like this I can vicariously live. And although my smile may be gone at least every night after work I can pop on a video like this and for a moment it returns.

Jacob don't you ever change,I love you channel the places you go are wonderful, you are a very responsible don't let anyone tell you different. I'm 63 I collect vintage trolls, furbys and I still have all my childhood toys we all collect and enjoy different things, people that don't have our child like wonder are miserable people and are jealous of us.i love the gift Jen gave you I still have my view master I didn't know you could have reels made for them jen put a lot thought into that gift.

Jacob, you are such an intelligent person, well said. I will never understand why people feel the need to tear others down, maybe they see you being happy and dislike that because they have yet to find something that brings them happiness. Keep being you and keep being an inspiration. Because of you, I feel more comfortable just being myself and enjoying the fun things in life...because life is so short. Take care, best wishes and safe travels. Much love to you and Jen! :)

Always stay young at heart, Jacob. I just love going to childish places myself, too. We all have things that make us happy. Some people don’t. Stay true to yourself. You are a fantastic person on KZbin. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

why would you have almost 500,000 subscribers if people didn’t like your content… I wouldn’t worry about those few people that think you too childish things that’s absolutely ridiculous!!!! we love what you do and I love being with you. It’s so much fun to listen to you both being happy and having fun together you just keep doing what you’re doing. Love you the way you are. Thank you.❤️
