Turanga Leela is a fictional character from the animated television series Futurama. Leela is spaceship captain, pilot, and head of all aviation services on board the Planet Express Ship. Throughout the series, she has an on-again, off-again relationship with Philip J. Fry, the central character in the series.

I'm so pleased to see you in my local museum. Some of the displays have been there since I was a child (I'm 65) and I love how they're mixed with the new items. It's always fun to just walk around and look - you always seem to find something you haven't noticed before. Thank you so much for sharing all of your adventures with us!!

My mum told me a story when she was a little girl see would often go to the New Walk Museum in Leicester. Her favourite display was the Dodo and back in the 50s it was not even in a case and all the kids would touch and cuddle it...This Dodo turned out to be one of two in the world that has real Dodo parts to its makeup. And is now in the Natural history Museum in London.. And it is now safely behind glass..

I feel your pain. I had recorded a video for my KZbin channel that was going to be a really good hit. I accidentally deleted it and tried to restore using those programs. Got so desperate I even paid for the programs, ended up maybe getting one 30 second clip that was choppy. I was so upset for days to come so I feel your pain!

My favourite museum diorama is probably either the opening display in the Manitoba Museum (a few huge bison being chased by men on horseback) or the arctic cave display, (it has a polar bear eating a seal, and it flows through all times of day. its built into a snoe cave you walk through) both have gorgeous backgrounds and floors

Artificial Changling sounds like a type of DND character that is not a changling but somehow gains the ability by technological means. I had a classmate in one of my final writing classes who wrote about her main character that sets up where they were before the events of the campaign (but they has a session where the timeline was changed so her character was always on the team instead of showing up trying to kill a prince)

As a wee lad, my friends and I stumbled across a stone driveway that had little purple rocks with little holes in them. We thought we discovered gold and were very excited to find out just how rich we were going to be from finding them. I convinced my dad to take us to the Buffalo Museum of Science to see if we could speak to a geologist there about them. One was kind enough to look at the rock and tell us it is just some byproduct of industry. While heartbroken, I am glad they took the time to humor some little kid.

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum is in Auburn, IN. It's been marked as a National Landmark. The Museum is located inside of the original Auburn Automotive Company Building. The 2nd floor is a small automotive gallery. There's also different interactive kiosks at different cars. There's also statues outside of the museum. Plus behind that museum is the National Auto and Truck Museum. That museum houses post WW2 vehicles, a Futureliner, and other neat vehicles. I'd love if you went to them sometime!

My local museum destroyed all of the beautiful taxidermy exhibits from my childhood that gave me peace, joy, and a life-long love of biology. They replaced them with loud, flashy things that children could poke and prod, a giant video theater, and a live penguin exhibit. This "modernization" is destroying museums all over the country.

I’m a taxidermy conservator and I’m sad to say that this is something that often happens because of ignorance on the museums part when it comes to the safety and importance of such specimens. Fortunately a lot of museums near me are pulling away from the screens and videos and focusing again on the stewardship of their physical specimens.

Hey Jacob, I've got a few museums for you to check out at some point in your travels..... (All in my home state of Ohio) 1) Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library and Museums (Fremont: where among other artifacts you can sit behind a replica of the Resolute Desk, a very cool Doll House, a room full of weapons collected by Hayes' Son Webb during his time in the military, plus the gravesite of Rutherford, his Wife, Webb and his Wife, plus the family house which is open to the public for tours) 2) Wood County Historical Museum (Bowling Green: Years ago the building served as a home for the poor and infirmed residents of the area, so there are stories of the place being haunted. Also probably the most famous exhibit there details the Story of Carl and Mary Bach (where the wife was killed by her husband with a corn knife and he eventually was hung for the deed, the last public hanging in the county. As part of the display you can see the knife, the very noose, and a jar with 3 of Mary's fingers preserved in Formaldehyde) 3) Allen County Museum (Lima: There's a exhibit on the time famous gangster John Dillinger was locked up in the local jail and he broke out with help from 3 of his cronies, and the Sheriff Jess Sarber was killed. Also there's a very cool Mechanical Diorama where small stuffed animals inhabit a case that tells the story of Noah's Ark that used to be coin operated, as well as a room sized model of Mt. Vernon) 4) Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum (Wapakoneta: Dedicated to one of the members of the Apollo 11 Mission to the Moon, this fantastic place includes such finds as a moon rock, simulators where you can try your hand at landing a lunar module or bringing a rocket back to earth, plus a hallway known as "the infinity tunnel")
